This is me Zafran, this is my first ever video that i have published in youtube, i finally faced the same Rear Camera issue today and i found that its something with the Hardware to do with after many other attempts.
Hope this video would be helpful to very few out there :)
Please keep me posted any other issues you face, so i could do my best in helping you all and would be an advantage for me to learn as well :)

Hi. I faced this issue yesterday for the first time and came here for a solution. yes my rear camera is now working after doing the hard pressed as described in the video and also i hit the back a bit with my palm and then did a hard reset. thank you for helping.
Are you God sent! Man I was skeptical about this first, but then I decided to give it a try watching the promising comments down here and it freaking did work for me within a minute!!

Hey guys, sounds funny but honestly to God it worked following this method: Press Hard on camera of the iPhome from the back(I don't mean press on Camera on actual screen). Press into place where light flashes from the back off the iPhone as well, as if you are angry and want to break, but obviously don't break lol. Believe me or not but it will work for some iPhones.

Quick fix: While on home page, triple-click the home button. This will bring up the magnifier. Make sure the magnification symbol along the bottom slide bar is as small as it gets. In other words, if it's on maximum magnification, slide the symbol from right side to as far as it will go on the left. Exit magnification. My black camera screen disappeared and appears to be ok now. Hope this helps some of you.

I fixed that error and I want to share you how to solve that with you guys.Its very simple and I tried many solutions.Nothing works.That happened when I upgraded to IOS 14.My camera and flash not working.And,I was searching solution.And then I saw somebody’s comment he said “that occurs due to the big update.So, I tried to downgrade my iOS 14 to 13 with my MacBook.You can see how to downgrade on UA-cam.I am really happy now and hope you guys work

hey don't worry i just fixed the same issue,, open you phone and fix the cable again, its just the matter of 5 minutes.. i just have done this for my camera. earlier i thought its software issue but no tricks work hence i open and fixed.. Good luck
holy crap thank you! all apple support did is ask me to back up my phone and reset setting and other software stuff but apparently it was just physical damage

Yoo when I first watched this I'm lk what kinda dumb ass solution vid is this but I gave the video and the process a try n it worked lk a charm!!!! I didn't even have to hold on my cam as long as he did in the video I wish I saw this before I changed my cam some time ago cause when this happened to me again today I wasn't bout to change it again!! my phone is display the error message as ""the iphone needs to cool down before you can use the flash"" back camera is not working . ihas also triyed this method but they have no use

My hard pressing didn't work... But I did hit the camera on the corner of my drawer and it worked! I guess it just needs a like smack and then works haha! Thanks for the idea tho

It worked for me :D but you need to do this step when ever you need your camera...
+D&TGaming Then from this you could assure that your having a physical loose
connection inbetwen the cables that connect your camera, get to a
technician, YOU TELL HIM THAT THERE IS A PHYSICAL LOOSE CONNECTION WITH
THE CABLES, and ask him to get it fixed firmly, if you dont mention the
real reason, they would say that you would need to replace the cam and
would charge a bulk rate.

Just press hard back side near camera and DONE.
Hey guys I got my camera to work again, I cried. You just have to hold the camera app till it jiggles like you're gonna delete something and simultaneously turn off the phone. When you turn off the phone gently but still with some force press around the camera, leave for a minute and turn back on. Hope it works for y'all. Like so people can see.
