Tavian malfoy there’s an emulator called pcsx2 and you can play ps2 games. and to setup pcsx2 just look at a youtube video. and by the way if you still have the ps2 cds you can put them inside the dvd thing and to turn them into iso you’ll need a thing called ImgBurn and their is also videos about that too. and and after that get your ps2 controller and plug it in the USB port and do your controls and that’s really it

Me too, BrandynnTube! :) Unfortunately, the odds aren’t very likely to happen. My best hope is to get PCXS2, a PS2 emulator, onto my computer and downloading the game there. Either that or do some online shopping and hope I get lucky.

But that’s because it’s a “SpongeBob SquarePants”-centered game. I love that cartoon (truly, I do) but I admittedly get annoyed by the scale of special attention it keeps getting from Nickelodeon. That game also got better reception than the “Nicktoons Unite” series. It feels like I’m more likely to get struck by lightning on my birthday than expect this game to get remade/remastered.
But for real though, this game’s AI for allies is better than most today 😭😂 Spongebob can keep up and still throw hands, never needed to worry about saving or reviving anybody.
You could play co-op instead of AI too right?
@@Wopedomer i believe there was multiplayer where your friend could plug in their controller and you both could play together on the same screen! Not like the online multiplayer games today.
@@dinomightstudios4119 I can confirm this, basically Player 1 controls the "zoning" meaning camera, respawn point, even P2's pressence all are forced to.orbit P1.

Me too 😢. I remember growing watching fresh cartoons and games in the 2000's. Such as Halo, Ed Edd n Eddy, Backyard wrestling 2, SpongeBob, War of the Monsters, Jacob 22, Def Jam fight for NY, Chowder, Twisted Metal Black and the rest. But most importantly I haven't been watching any cartoon programs in 2009 when stupid CN Real came by and ruined everything, I knew it was coming to an end for Cartoon network. I tried to get back into cartoons but nothing. It was time for me leave my cartoon memories in the 2000's and say hello to anime. So I've been sticking to it back in 2010.

Recently replayed this game when I hooked my ps2 back up as well as nicktoons unite and it really was a great nostalgia rush. These are the first games my kids will play when they are young lol

My brother and I played this game so much! We would literally beat it in about 3 hours, start it over, then play it again. This was a never ending cycle for months. Ahh, good times...... (:
Man I remember coming back from school and rushing to play this game... my mother hated when I'd put it on because our PS2 was set up in mine and my sisters room. I didn't get to finish it the first time I played through. School holidays came back around, I begged my mother to rent it out again and boom. Finished it in a week...

Back in the days we had a lot of internet games based off shows, movies, etc. Today, you just have popular games like Fortnite, Apex, COD, etc. I would love to see games like this make a comeback.

I sure wish I had gotten this game back in 2006. I would’ve loved playing as these iconic Nicktoons characters on this foreboding tropical island setting in a fight against an inter-dimensional villain. But I guess watching playthroughs like this may be good enough for me. While I highly doubt a remake of this game will come out (let alone with the exact same cast of playable characters), I will always count myself grateful for having discovered this back in late 2018. :)

This game simultaneously entertained and terrified me
Funny how the game can be finished in about 2 hours and 40 minutes. When I was a Child, the game seemed much longer, in fact it took me about 5/6 days to finish it.

I played this game religiously with my cousin in the summers of 07-09 because we were always together. We spent literal days just trying to get to the end only to come up short until we one day finally beat it after hours of just trying to get to the end. I just happened to see someone else doing a play through of the cosmic shake and they had mentioned this game which I had nearly forgotten about until they mentioned it and I just had to watch it back for the nostalgia. Thank you uploading this it really brought a portion of my childhood back to life.
They should make a new version for 2019 it'll be cool

The Gamecube-Wii era with these Nickelodeon crossover games were amazing! Who also remembers playing Super Brawl on the old Nickelodeon website? This is what made the 2000s remarkable. Hopefully we get more of these games in the 2020s.

We all know Nicktoons Unite was the best game out of all the nicktoon mashups! However, I do still have a love for this game.
Globs of Doom is actually my favorite. As much as I love the first Nicktoons Unite, I thought that was the weakest game in the series

Me and my cousin Christian made it a challenge for us to beat this in one night when we weren’t even 8 years old. And we stayed up till 6am and did it. He recently passed from suicide and I think about that night randomly.

I remember when I attempted to do my own longplay of this in 2015. But after the Great Carapace fight, the game took me back to the main menu. I had no memory card. I also played the GameCube version.
I really wish that they would make a remake or reboot of the Nicktoons unite series for today’s PlayStation, Xbox and PC.

Weird how they reused assets from Battle for Bikini Bottom. The second level music is from the robo Patrick fight. First level had the slide theme playing. Odd that they did so
Oh, no, that was this player’s conscious addition. The PS2/GameCube version of “Nicktoons: Battle for Volcano Island” actually has its own soundtrack - ranging from bonus levels to boss fights. WishingTikal has music from “Battle for Bikini Bottom” playing over it to avoid getting in trouble with copyright infringement.
Seriously, “Battle for Volcano Island” (PS2/GameCube) has its own soundtrack and (I think) it’s pretty good. I even incorporated a couple of the bonus level themes for when I did my “What’s With?” character analyses on Sam Manson (“Danny Phantom”) and Patrick Star (“SpongeBob SquarePants”) respectively.
I miss the good old days, games like these were golden
I just emulated this game again today and I gotta say it holds up much better than a lot of the more obscure games I played as a kid, I felt like I could beat it in an hour and beat it multiple times a day, which the only thing is that it’s short enough to be enjoyable all the way through

I only ever played Unite and Attack of the Toybots (though I had the DS version of this and Globs of Doom), but recently I found the Wii version of Globs at a used game store and bought it. Haven't played it yet (replaying Unite at the moment) but I actually decided to order this game for the Gamecube because I had a friend who liked it as a kid. In a few days I'll finally have all four console Nicktoons games. Eventually tho I'd like to get the other two DS games to see what they're like

one of the games that marked my childhood, I remember that I was afraid of the sand monsters and that is why it took me a long time to progress through the game, I called those monsters "purple monsters", I also remember that I loved fighting against the sand monster big arena and for the same reason I spent hours without progressing, I will have finished the game 3 times and I'm going for a fourth, of course, when I find the game
