Some plant-life thrive in extreme heat say like a cactus, some fair better in cooler more wet areas like wildflowers in a forest for instance. Swap their locations and you may have an issue though, your path to success and the paths of those you admire can be looked at similarly. The path that someone else may find success on just may not be for you and vice versa, place that person on your path and they’ll be lost. You said it right, not only is it hard to not compare yourself I’d go as far as saying it’s downright impossible not to. You can’t always control your tendency to observe others and place what you observe from them against what you experience in your own life, that’s just human nature and the mind doing what it does. But what you can control is how you react and how you allow it to make you feel. I won’t call it easy control those reactions and feelings but it can be done. If everyone took the same road to success the traffic jam would outlive us all, no one would ever make it. Trust in timing, remember this, when preparation and opportunity meet great things happen. Trust in timing. One day those people you’re admiring right now, you’ll be right next them, and I mean that both metaphorically and figuratively, it won’t matter who got there first or how many steps it took because you’ll both be there. You couldn’t have survived on their path and they couldn’t have survived on your’s, you both had to make it your way on your own paths. Stay encouraged, stay prepared because opportunity waits for no one, and trust in where you’ve been, where you are, and where you can go. It’s ok to worry, it’s ok to be scared, it’s ok to compare, it’s ok to be tired, it’s ok to feel like you’re falling apart sometimes, just remember there’s no limit to how far you can go. But to get anywhere, you gotta walk that path, your path, and no one else’s path is gonna look like yours, so try not to let those comparisons get to you. At the end of the day, if you walk your path, keep faith in yourself, your ability, and a focus on whatever it is success looks like to you, you’ll get there. Just wait, it’s gonna be incredible. This is so relatable to me I am a young actor and in a show right now I lo e the cast soooo much but I find myself comparing like oh they are more experienced they are better and questioning am I qualified to be here should I be here am I in the way I would love to pursue theater in life. Also as a christ follower my faith can kind of help validate that i should be there thank you for this video
