It is great to see a walk around videos. Love these. The red Corolla next to the Audi looks good.
Thanks for the video. It's great to see you doing an auction yard walk around! Keep up the good work! 👍
That noise is actually the piston hitting the cylinder head. Seen it a few times when I was at the dealer.
Great video as always man I think that's the supercharger on that Audi for sure love the videos man. The Honda hybrid that ac compressor looks pretty easy to replace I've had to change bottom ac compressors like that one its just taking a few bolts off and hooking it back up and vacuuming the system would definitely be a good gas saver for Indiana trips.
that audi will be worth a shot. just go for it
Thanks for the video 📹 keep up the good work
Happy to see another video
Hi Randy, good to see an old IAA walkaround, many have copied but you are the OG. In the video I noticed a red Jeep Liberty in the background and then next to the audi was a 2dr Honda Accord. I would love to see both of those on the channel. You can never go wrong on a Honda. For Jeeps only show and buy if they are 4x4's it truly amazes me that they even make them in a non-4x4 versions and people buy them. Thanks for the video. 😀🚙🛻🚕
Hey Randy Merry Christmas camera doing great 4K all good sound good awesome video thank you Paul from Hamilton ON
I like the Audi!!! Camera did great!! Keep em coming😊
Oh Randy, you came, and you changed my life , thank you, bro ,for your great content from the uk.
Yes, i changed the lyrics from Mandy too Randy ,great song 🎵 😄
The Audi does sound like a supercharger issue , mostly likely a coupler as per Samcracs video , but it's needs only some general things otherwise and a tuneup being a German car that will be something to strictly consider but I'd say personally this is one of the first Audi R8 feel comfortable to take home , go for it Randy it's worth if you can get it under1500$ out the the door , that Durango body style I love and it just might be savable after the vacuum leaks fixed but definitely had some sounds in the engine .
I'm all in for the Audi~ I've been an Audi fan longer than BMW. Hopefully an easy fix and quick turn for you! Merry Christmas to you and the fam!
Sounds great, no issues!
Like the Audi but a few problems yep. The sound and video quality is good and thanks for walking in the cold for us . Love watching.
The camera was about the same as the Gopro, but the audio did not have the top end that I am used to hearing from your videos. Buying the Audi might be a learning experience for the viewers and a money maker for you on the other side. Good luck Randy.
Audio quality was superb Randy
new camera looks great!
My buddy had one he drove from cali to Maryland without any issues had to change the same part once he made it back he did the repair himself over night it’s a Honda very simple and good car I’d buy for the right price
Honda easy fix but I enjoy your videos keep up the good work somebody other cars would be easy to work on too brother
The A6 could be interesting, but that noise does concern me. The supercharger isn't too hard to remove... Samcrac has at least one video I know of that shows him removing one. My bigger concern is that it looks like that car wasn't maintained very well.
agreed what you said. These are great cars. I had 2 of them. KEY - If you maintain they are great and I am meticulous. 166K miles, that engine can go a lot further but this car does not look maintained. Just by the dirt under the hood so it could be done that engine. Such a shame because everything else seems to work in the car. My 2014 ( same car as this) I sold with 140K and did only Maintence. Nothing every broke or was replaced except for normal Maintence, brakes, tires, filters etc.
The sound from your new camera was good I Hurd everything well the Honda didn't look bad didn't seem to be rushing though other areas probably idk the 4.7 v8 in the doge I don't like I bought my first car in 2016 a 99 dodge ram wheel chair van with the 5.2 still have it today no engine issues just rolled over 64 thousand miles it's had work done sence I've got it but no problem with the motor it's a gas drunker but I love it good video
The audi would be a very interesting one to see on the channel. I like the styling of those cars.
Audio and video were just fine
Merry xmas to you and your family
I was waiting for another video 😂
Man I ain’t never heard a tap that intense that wasn’t a rod knock or a slapping piston or wrist pin. That’s intense, and very rhythmical. Supercharger couplers can be rhythmical but normally they sound way different from this- More like a rattle that can be light to sorta intense.
Randy video is great and go for the Audi
Good video 🥰
Randy it sounds like a wrist pin on the car with that knocking or it could be the turbo but wrist pins sound like there on top
While randy was looking at the dodge
I was looking at the range rover
I had a 2010 a4 2.0t. Out of no where it started ticking like that but not as loud. Had a ton of blowby turns out it was the pcv. Mines sounded like it had a rhythmic tick almost like a bent valve but again not as loud as that a6. People tend to stay away from Audis because they think the parts are crazy expensive. But the truth is the parts are relatively cheap. My f150s parts seem to be more expensive than things for the Audi. As long as you’re doing the work yourself you should be ok. And buy some triple square sockets lol you’ll need them. Sometimes torque bits work but if you have to put torque on them the heads will strip off the bolts. I learned the hard way.
Crazy thing is I have the Audi a4 2010 2.0t right now ever since I got her in august from iaa auction she came with a clean title no damage everything was good just changed the oil pressure sensor asap and it never went off again then got a new turbo diverter valve for her and new engine relay for her since the old relay was bad and wouldn’t turn the car on and she has been running amazing ever since no check engine light nun of that finna get her muffler and resonater off within the next month 🫡
New 📸 is great 👍 !
I DRIVE A CIVIC HYBRID!!! Best car ever. And. It has the blue interior with the Navi just like that one except it has a grey/blue exterior. Best car I’ve ever had. 300k miles and running/driving perfect (knock on wood)
🎵 you got to know when to hold ‘em know when to fold ‘em know when to walk away and know when to run🎵
Merry Christmas
Man that TSFI Is a piece of work check out the humble mechanic he took one apart
Go for that Audi.
I would bid on it, I think that it’s fixable (I think).
You should check out the Honda Odyssey van
cam works good
Video Quality Was Good
I think the Audi is worth a shot 😄
Hi Randy, the camera seem 5 out of ten stars ⭐️ for me it didn’t focus at all on the iPhone 14.
Randy the audio and video looks and sounds good to me I don't know about the noise it's your money me I wouldn't be save see you in the next one
Audio/Video was good.
not too bad to do this AC for the civic .
Max bid maybe 300$
Buy the hybrid, put on a smaller belt to bypass the compressor. Interesting content in the future on an Indiana video. Taking the hybrid with no back up plan!
Get the Audi Randy! Super easy fix!
If the AC compressor is locked up on that Honda, that means a whole new system is needed. More than likely, there's metal shrapnel in the lines.
Even though it has that issue… It would be cool to see that Durango on the channel and see if it can be an easy fix.
My B5.5 Passat does this same thing engine wise although she has the 1.8t.
I’d trust the Audi as much as the Dodge 🤣 Don’t even think Samcrac would touch that Audi lol.
Ha Ha you said move on to number 2 MERRY CHRISTMAS
I'm all for that Civic Hybrid.
200,000 miles is nothing on one.
And, I love the blue interior.
I'll pass on the Durango, and the A6, both sound bad, both have engine problems, especially the Durango.
That Civic though, it runs fine, and I'd drive it.
thanks for the video, Randy.
Man Randy, As A German Car Fan, I’m A Huge Fan Of The Audi, If It Makes Since For You Brand, By All Means Get That Audi, Dig Into It, See What’s What, Would Make For Excellent Content..
I had a Durango identical to that one years ago and got rid of it at 80000 miles with that sludge problem.
Nice A6 sline
Randy you didn't finish the lyrics" you gotta know when to walk away" 😂😂😂😂
Buuuy the A8 good channel content , do do do to do to do it riiight
I wouldn't spend more than $800-$900 on the Audi, but if you can get it within that price, I think it might be a good deal.
From where I'm sitting the Durango sounded like it has a rod knock
Get the Audi!!!!
Replacing an AC compressor on that Civic isn't bad, I did a whole system a couple years ago. Only thing that was irritating was replacing the drier because it's way under that weird deep firewall.
The audi is cool
Hello Randy!
It can be the ignition coil!!? My car was running like that and it was the ignition coil, i changed the spark plugs and the explosion sensor to. Depending on the price can be a good deal i guess. Cheers ✌️🇵🇹🇲🇿😎
The noise on that Audi sounds like the timing chain tensioner. It's failed and rattling around in the case which is the noise.
I am interested in this honda civic.how will I go about it randy
I sand corrected on the audio after I ran it through my studio monitors.
What does total on a windshield mean when it’s on a car?
How many miles in the Audi?
That Audi reminds me of when my 2 cylinder Honda motorcycle decided to become a single but I know nothing about that engine.
18:23 "That'll be expensive when it does break though."
You sir are absolutely correct... $4,000 as they have to replace the entire radio to fix it.
go pro !
I sold my 03 Pilot to peddle and went to IAA and sold for 2500 with a bad trans and and rod knock that was on the listing
I think the civic hybrid AC compressor is probably more expensive than normal because it can run the AC while the engine is off. Otherwise, should be a normal compressor replacement.
That said, I don’t think you’ll make a ton on it at auction with those miles.
Good morning Randy
I have a 2002 ram with the 4.7l it has 108,000 miles, not stock but just mild mods but I've been religious with the oil changes and only run synthetic oil, been lucky so far, truck has been with the family since October 2001, here's to the next 20 years lol
Hi Randy question. Do you prefer IAA or copart and why? Thanks
Don't forget the front cameras and sensors
Yep
It sounds just like what samcrac had
A 1000 would be good with those sound under the Hood
Maybe the Honda if you a reasonable bid and change on that pulley
And yes you were correct
I had the same model and year for 2 years and someday it started doing me that noise. I went to check on it and it was a problem that was happening with the supercharger. That car is definetely worth it and could bting u more money than u think
I'm still looking for a RHD
This camera has a large sensor, meaning the minimum focus distance is pretty far
Good video quality
I always hear you say pedal car and I tried to look it up it doesn't really tell me what it is I know about my cars but that's the thing that I don't know about can you collaborate in your videos what a pedal car is to the ones that are not pedal cars
How much for the Honda Hybrid
Samctac is a crac
The audio sounds fine to me! Heard no difference!
the small pump on the Audi is a vacuum pump
For Audis beeping with the door open click the button on the steering wheel and it’ll turn off
Audi for a little less than 1k would be good, good content as well
I have a feeling that this Audi might become Randy's new daily for going to Indianapolis I do not know the fuel economy on the audi but I assume it's better than the Trx
I like the camera however seams darker
From florida
Hey Randy, Love starting my day with your videos! what a treat! Thanks for sharing
