    Thank you! Quick idea for you: reach out to some of the successful guitar youtubers and ask for a share. What brought me here was repetitive movement strain in my fretting hand & wrist. I believe your series of stretches is super important for musicians.

    Thank you! I have Cipro toxicity and it attacked my nerves. I have had awful hand pain for 3 months. I'm going to try these. Is there a modification for the ulnar nerve that is even gentler? I tend to feel the stretch on these with very little movement. Thanks so much!

    I felt pain relief the first time but the nerves in my hands feel on edge. Is this normal ?

    • @ZHealthPerformance
      @ZHealthPerformance  7 років тому

      It's common if the nerve has been immobile for some time. It's also common if the tension during the drill is too high. Make sure and keep the tension very mild. The nerves are easy to aggravate to go slow and gentle.

      There are a few components to treating carpal tunnel syndrome naturally. One resource I found that succeeds in merging these is the Dariks Pain Destroyer (google it if you're interested) it's the no.1 blueprint that I've seen. Check out all the great info .

    When I wake in the morning my hands are swollen and in so much pain especially my wrists throughout the day I drop stuff all the time keys, change, coffee, a chainsaw. I hate this pain & weakness it is ruining my life
    P.S.
    I subscribed to your channel here, Mainly because...you didn't ask me to subscribe to it. So many people on y/tube beg the viewer, to subscribe these days, it seems that is all they want and the content of the video is second nature So when they beg me to sub, I do not, However you seem to care about the individual first and foremost and that's the kind of attitude what I want to subscribe to . Thank you again
    This video was beneficial to me & I'm sure it would be to anyone in my position as well & that's why I'm sharing it on my Facebook page and anyplace else I can think of.
    Thanks for caring!

    I hope this exercises help me, I had surgery years ago on my right hand due to carpal tunnel. Right now I am having on my left hand, I cannot bend my middle finger, lol, if so, get stuck so I have to shake my hand or with my other hand try to stretch it. My orthopedic doctor, advised me that I need surgery; but I want to try exercises instead to have a surgery. I play piano, I type every day. My physical therapist made some kind of ring with an extension, made of some kind of plastic, something like that, but it hurt my fingers, so I do not want to use it, he did some kind of exercises, put some kind of small weights in my fingers, I notice I got a pain that I did not have it before. I want to try the best exercises and rid off from this health problem.

    Short rad story from my "grip training" recently that proved to me how effective Z drills are for grip strength. I have been practicing farmers walks with a cinderblock, (a very light weight) but I have been using a pinch grip to make it much more challenging. So I pinched the cinder block with my right hand, lifted it and walked it about 100ft before I felt my grip fatiguing. I set it down and proceeded to try and pick it up with my left hand in a pinch grip... DIDN'T HAPPEN, could not even lift it off the ground. So instead of doing a lot more grip work for my left hand, like commom sense would dictate, I did some nerve glides and wrists and elbow drills. Literally 1min 30 sec later when I pinched the cinderblock I felt STRONG, like I could crush my fingers together if I wanted to.Smiling, I walked further than I had on my "good side" before I set it down again. I am gateful for all the info you put up here on youtube.

    After part one video, I feel so much relieved...esp on my neck and shoulder. I can clench my fingers now. Before this, it seems that my 4th finger is like a stick. Just straight, won't bend. Can't even hold a broom or a knife. Now I am so happy...Carpal Tunnell syndrome is very painful at times, esp when it's a rainy day and I am in pain at night. Thank you.

    Hi. I have started to do these exercises (Carpal Relief 1 and 2) and noticed a big relief. Would it be ok to do them more than 3 times a day?Tks

    • @ZHealthPerformance

      Yes, you can do them up to 5 times a day. Although they seem like small exercises they can be demanding on the nervous system

    Is it normal that while doing these exercises that the wrist gives of a burning sensation?

    • @ZHealthPerformance
      @ZHealthPerformance  7 років тому

      Yes it's normal since the nerve is being mobilized. The tension/burning should be very low, about a 2 on a 1 to 10 scale where 1 is no tension/burning.

    Thanks for the advice! I'm 19 years old and my doctor seems to think I have carpal tunnel. My range of hand and finger movement has significantly been affected. My wrist can only move back half as much as it used to and my thumbs in particular cant move normally. my thumbs can only make a "V" shape, they can no longer move to an "L" shape. I haven't been to physical therapy yet but I am planning on it. Also, in the mornings when I wake up my ring finger is stuck shut and I cannot extend it. It takes like an hour of moving it and warming it up for it to return to the normal extended position. I will try these exercises, but if you or anyone has further advice it would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

      LivingLegendX21 Try changing the tensioning sequence and make the wrist bend the last action.

      ZHealthPerformance I think I was bending my thumb too far across the palm, i basically was trying to get it to touch my base of the pinky and doing the stretches, but after rewatching i adjusted and the pain went down signifigantly
