My parents had some problems with not drinking enough water. Their doctor said our sense of thirst is not as strong as we age. So, you may not feel thirsty, but you are! It might be helpful to keep a notebook handy where you can write down each time you drink a glass of water and at the end of the day see if you are drinking enough. Each day should get easier. I enjoyed this video! My hair is getting coarser too.

Sandy I’m 77 and I too need cream on everything! One thing I include is salmon or another fatty fish in our diets weekly and adequate hydration of course. I also like Cerave hydrating facial cleanser and keep it in my shower. I also like the daily facial moisturizer and moisturizing night cream(purple label) from Cerave. Thanks for sharing your favorites. I will definitely try some of them. Happy Mother’s Day to you and God bless.

Btw, I was watching this while my grown daughter was here and she works for a big tech platform and she said you’re allowed to use the word vagina and vulva as long as it’s in an appropriate context, and an older woman helping other older women take care of their bodies is absolutely appropriate! Happy Mothers Day, Sandra. So enjoyed your video. I remember reading a book by Angela Lansbury and she talked about this very topic. She was noticing he skin was looking so weathered on Murder She Wrote and went on a campaign of moisturizing, water, and more fruits and veggies. I get busy and forget all those wonderful healthy things too. But it’s time to begin paying better attention to giving our skin its best shot at combating fragility and dryness. @@SandraSallin it’s called Positive Moves. I did a good beauty indulgent today. I love gold bond crepe corrector, especially on my arms. Really hits the crepiness. If I don’t keep using it, I hold my arm up and I about die at the folds and crepiness. I met a woman who was a famous hair cutter in NYC. She told me after I shampoo, etc. take a small bit of the conditioner and rub it in your hands and wipe it through your damp hair. Especially the ends. I think it’s amazing. I bought this soap I saw on Facebook and I am so glad I did. It looked better from the first shampoo. I hate conditioner so I don't condition my hair but this works for me. Just wanted to mention in case you were interested. It is 20.00 a bar but it will last a long time. I only rub it over my hair once and it gives lots of lather. Doesn't take much! Sandra, Im with you on the drinking water. I have never liked drinking water. The main reason being that I find Im just never thirsty plus the fact that it doesnt taste like anything doesnt help either. Ive been making myself drink now since Ive started having some intestinal issues. So my strategy is… I set out 5 bottles of water on the kitchen counter and make myself drink them every day. On the counter they are a constant reminder that I need to drink. Although Im not perfect at it all the time I am much better than I used to be. Sad to say that even after 6 months it has yet to become a habit. I still have to make myself drink every day. 😕

I'll give you a hint about the Laneige, Sandra. It's really an overnight product that's meant to be tissued off in the morning. It's meant to moisturize *&* exfoliate; that's how it was marketed when 1st introduced. There's also a difference in the 'flavors'. I see you have the berry; I was not wowed by that. I have found the vanilla to be far more moisturizing & I'm on my 2nd jar. It IS hard to get enough water! I use a fragrance-free moisturizer (Eucerin Advanced Repair) shoulders to toes & then spritz on my own scent. That's a tip for the budget-minded who tend to have sensitive skin. Happy Mother's Day! Blessings! Jackie in upstate NY

Hi Jackie, I would prefer vanilla. Sephora must have been out of it. I would always prefer vanilla. Do you rub it off with a rough towel?
