that was epic! The imagery and the music brought me tears! Love how many of these pop culture sword bearers just pointed me to Jesus! I didnt realize this was an Andrew Peterson song. Really love his ministry.
I showed my son this, who is a massive fan of all things Legend of Zelda, and he loved it when Link was shown. I discussed with him after he watched it, and he got the message. Happy dad moment to see his son connect the worthy theme to Jesus ❤
Hebrews 4:12 KJV - "For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any *twoedged sword,* piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart."
Funnily enough I was thinking a lot about the symbolism of this very recently. Just couldn't get the image of the sword in the stone looking like the cross on Calvary out of my head. Good to see I'm not the only one who seems to be chewing over this just now.
That was beautiful! Thanks so much for sharing! For some reason I was extremely happy, that Neville was included. 😂😭 Many of the others were big warriors, chosen ones and kings. But he is just a gentle soul whose heroism and chosenness (is that a real word?) is often overlooked.
Love this! So many great stories of heroes echoing the Great Story of Christ.
This is pefect. (Marvel, lotr, Narnia were great for this.)

This remides me of the novel "Apocalipse" from here in Brazil.
