Black Quantum Futurism presents a three-channel sound installation with text, video, and image accompaniments that delves into the shadowy depths of time, sound, echo, and light and how these phenomena are modified, reversed, and manipulated within a mirror’s reflection to create an alternate reality that exists in its own temporal-spatial plane running parallel to our own. Every summer since 1995, the independent initiative Brückenmusik has been presenting sound art installations in the 550 metre long hollow body of the Deutzer Bridge with its outstanding acoustic properties. Guided tours for a limited number of visitors make Brückenmusik a unique sound event in this outstanding environment.
