Genesis vs Krecher?
My 4 the Fallen is my favorite. I love the sound when you barrel it up! My ASA Genesis is great too, but the ball just flies better with the Fallen. I'm sure its because it's 27.5 with a full ounce endload, compared to a 26 with a half ounce. Either way those bats are money!
My brother has had 3 of these bats. And they all broke the same way. Honestly, performance wise, I don't think they stack the same as a krecher. You seem to have to swing way harder and the ball just doesn't jump off the bat the same. I'll be Interested to see the velo test and where this stacks in your top 5. Nice to see more ASA bats being tested! Can't wait to see the worth powercell and the Cole Campbell "the grand."
I have had mine 6 months and nothing wrong with it. Very hot ASA bat.
Cant wait to see the exit speeds and durability with the right balls.
What would be awesome would be to see an OG genny SB103 vs the new tech. There was a reason it didn't last in the ASA approval list.
Or the real og sb34 , they were sick, the sb103 was the replacement, sick bats back in the day

Those are both UTrip bats, everyone knows Louisville Utrip bats are Top Tier. Im pretty sure they want to incorporate more ASA content as well, especially to see what can compete with Monsta. This is their first review of Louisville's new ASA tech and bats.

That’s crazy man! I have been hitting nothing but harder evil bp rockets with mine with zero issues. But it's 115 here in AZ. The barrel does feel incredible though. You swing your Fiend yet? That one might change your mind about M5.

Love the sound, love the feel, buuuuut just performance is not there in my opinion. It’s not juiced at all, but it’s my favorite ASA bat because it’s very good for keeping the ball in the park

The TPS and TPZ were alright a couple years ago, but nothing super crazy. Hopefully this ends up better considering how great LS does with some of their Utrip and fast pitch bats

As for the DNA Legacy I hated it OOW, being older and not having the swing speed of you younger guys I decided to take a chance. Hit the M5 with 44 cor ball for 80 plus swings. It changed and now is my gamer. Ran into a fella who asked me how I like the Legacy. Told him my experience and he too was on cuff to sell it. Well ran into him on the diamond again and it worked for him as well. Great video and will pull my Genesis out of box soon.

Will, you can still get M2s. For example, All American Athletics has a new Get Nutz 3 that is M2 tech. They're still out there, just not directly from Monsta.

I've swung the Genesis ASA loved it! But... you need to test out the Demarini Nihilist asa. I have the Red White and blue 12" (second one I've owned). Thought it was invincible and was hitting 44s in 5 degrees and got a slight crack.. These might need the best second most durable asa bats behind Anarchy, but have a better pop Out of wrapper. My current gamer even has a clack from the inner barrel.

The tattoo nx3 52 cor are a little bit harder in my opinion too. They cracked one of my m2s
The game .52s arent that hard. If you were swinging the yellow and green spinners those are .44s

Curious, You swing 26oz. balanced Genesis and an end loaded. Given your choice what weight bat do you prefer to swing? Balanced and end load.?
I wonder what my 2014 Easton 3oz endload would hold against some of the 240’s

Anyone know how this would do with 250lb 40.cor softballs? Idk why but the league I play in changed the game balls last year.
Thats a classic M spec ball. If you have to swing an ASA stamped bat, look for a dual stamp bat, and get ready to do some serious BP. The ASA only bats will likely break super quick with the harder ball.
If the USSSA LS crack using 52s then what do you think would really happen with ASA LS? 🙄
The tech inside the genesis is very similar to that of monsta tech but the issue is that it breaks very easily. The fastpitch louisville slugger meta uses the same tech and is also known to be fragile. In fact, i got a whole pile of them from a fastpitch team that ran through them in off season practice because they all broke
Not sure where you’re hearing that, but That’s very incorrect information. One is a non linear bat design, and one is linear. Two completely different ways of designing an asa bat. One can be swung hard, and has little flex, and one has a lot of flex. One has a floating inner barrel, and one does not. They’re far from being similar.
@@SoftballPaul i an not hearing this from anyone. I've opened up and analyzed these bats myself. All non- linear means that the barrel walls have different degrees of stiffness which both the monsta and LS have so technically they're both non linear, although that claim is contestable. The point i was making was that the cantilevered inner wall of the mash composite barrel system moves inside the bat on contact, much like how the FIB moves inside the bat. One is held in my foam, the other is connected to the outer wall at the throat
@@SoftballPaul non linear stiffness is a term that hinges on the premise that the walls will flex with equal resistance, but due to compression differences as a function of diameter, you'd have to make wall thickness different so that the balls deformation sees equal force when contacting both walls. In my testing, the mash composite system doesn't have this linear compression. Whether that's a LS mistake or a mistake in my calculations, idk but that's not the point. The point is that the inner barrel of both bats shift on contact. This is the similarity of tech
@@SoftballPaul also I'm not sure specifically what kind of flex you're talking about. If you're talking about the flex of the bat as it vibrates on the hands, the construction of the connection piece, handle shape and thickness, as well as the barrel play a part in that. If you're talking about the flex in the walls, that's different. Non- linear bats actually see an increase in distance for slower swing speeds as stated by WSU although i have some doubts about that when it comes to certain bats like many of the rawlings bbcors. I'll be doing my own testing on this next year once i can get back into the lab

Could you do a review on the Torch mutated 25oz EL? I have been playing for a while and want to elevate my game. I recently bought the mutated and don’t have the ability to do bp to break it in and just want to know what I should expect. It’s a M4 torch

That’s nuts. I almost went with a Battleground, but opted for the utrip DOMN8 instead. Glad i made that choice being that i play ASA/USA league and that bat would’ve been useless to me.

i used exclusively 52/300 dudleys...NO EVIL balls....they are harder than 52s...no broken bats at all

Geraint, The 10 year history of the Evil ball confirms that to be true. 1 bat breaking in the hands of a semi Pro baseball guy in over a year of reviews with Evils would indicate that its not the ball

my ASA genesis felt great and I loved it right out of the gate BUT it didn't have the exit velo or distance as my Monsta and Onyx bats....its a really good asa bat but not great in my hands

Haven't seen Will blow up other bats with those evil bp balls. I see him hit monstas all the time with um. Sorry Genesis is fragile as my 80 year old grandma's hip. Don't blame Evil over 1 glass bat when they been out for 10 years.
I've never had an issue with the 52/300 balls... It could be one of those flukes like I had with my Krecher that cracked in 50 hits, it happens.
