What a heartbreaking story of this brave little girl. As a mother my heart aches for all children that don’t have what they need from their parents or caretakers. As a public speaker and teacher for over 40 years, there are 2 things I've learned that will "move" an audience.
      1. Storytelling. 2. Speaking from the heart.
Robin has been gifted to tell her story from the emotions of her heart. Her story has the power to be a transformational life-changing experience. Especially to those who are in need of healing from trauma.
I would love to sing with and dance with Robin just to watch and see her smile.
Robin if you read this comment, know that I love you and am looking forward to the "connection" you spoke about that we will all have on the "other side." Always with a Grateful Heart - Wayne

Feeling inspired. Thinking of the people, animals, and other sentient beings living right now with man's inhumanity to man. Realizing that I need to embrace ALL facets of my life -- pain seems so difficult to embrace.
Alex, such a wonderful interview with a remarkable survivor. I particularly appreciate the message that all of us can "make it through" since the help [human & divine] IS there. I pray for the guts, humility, and fortitude to realize this fact. For ALL of us to realize this fact. ❤🧡💛💚💙💜

I have heard Robin Landsong and participated in her group session. Her singing medicine is something worth experiencing. She definitely is gifted to see into people and help them. This is her best recounting of her incredible near death experiences. She says the purpose of life is connection, and she connects amazingly with people. I am amazed at the compassion in Robin after all the harm she experienced. I just wish her remaining family could recognize her, see her. Robin connects Africa, America and even Asia with her experience. Robin is still so young , she will continue to do so much needed good for a long time to come. Back in the 60's & 70's most public school children were taught their phone number and address in Kindergarten. I taught my own children these before Kindergarten. Mrs. Landsong said she was abducted at the end of the school year then gone for probably several months. The school would have questioned why other children in the family were attending school in the fall but not Mrs. Landsong. I'm sure the authorities had no difficulty figuring out where to return her. As far as her style of speaking, she is a creative and a communicator. She's a healer and a storyteller. While her style may be unique, different from your own, it doesn't necessarily mean dishonest. Maybe her purpose, her destiny is to reach those who are attuned to the same frequency as she is. You may be attuned to an altogether different frequency. Diamond, Sapphire, Ruby, Emerald each emit a different frequency yet, all are gemstones. This is true of all of humanity. We're all beautiful gemstones in the Father's crown. Mrs. Landsong I enjoyed your message today and I wish you all the joy possible going forward.

Woah. The similarities of Robin's story and mine are mind boggling. The take way is that bereaved and abused children can turn out to be so passionate about helping others and realising these life tests are to ascend from victim to a useful person, against all odds and it encourages me to know other women who used there traumas to others' advantage and knowing how it could have gone the other way if we hadn't been shown we were worthy of love but that some people don't have the capacity to love and that's not our fault. I healed the orphan child inside me and my NDE at the hands of foster care abuse , by raising 5 run away kids , I now have 5 'grandkids': love conquers all and creativity is healing . Waking up each day, now, is a miracle ; when it used to be a disappointment. I'm nearly 50 I can be the kid that I never had the chance to be with the wisdom I've acquired and at the point of being grateful for every moment of torment because after all that I have zero fear of my mortality and every reason to celebrate not feeling sorry for myself but proud like my parents would be , which is all I ever wanted . Now I can create art to encourage people to chose to be survivors and carers of others ❤ Thank you Robin for telling your story. We must have parallel paths ... Somehow I feel we will meet on this ever continued journey ❤

Wow! This was a powerful sharing!
My dark experiences were not at all as extreme as Robin's but I too "chose" a birth family with parents who didn't love me. The contrast of seeing other children being loved around me was extremely painful and led me to believe that I was worthless (or I'd be loved like the children around me.) One of the things that I believe strengthened Robin were the villagers who showed her such love in Rhodesia -- even though she had to lose them that kind of love and experiencing being cherished never leaves a person.
God bless Robin in her Soul growth and life's work.

This is to you, Robin: I have died many times (more than I can remember at this time), and your experieces - although tailored to your place at the time - embed the universal themes - explaining why so many can relate. There are three forces running the whole shebang, from cosmology down to our individual lives: Developing (growing/expanding/evolving); Connecting (relating/grouping/coupling); and Balancing (harmonizing/adjusting/shifting).
