Spending the Day in Arashiyama

Arashiyama is a gorgeous part of Kyoto, with a mix of traditional style houses and buildings, surrounded by wilderness. You can easily spend a couple of days in Arashiyama alone, wandering the side streets and the main shopping street, and still not see everything the area has to offer!
