This thing is going to be super popular at Dollywood. The family coasters there get huge lines (although Dragonflyer has capacity partly to blame for the long lines.) I'm hoping this means that the other lines shorten up a bit. That said, Dollywood is clearly interested in expanding capacity so that they have more stuff to do for the ever growing crowds.
This looks awesome, I already love raik at phantasialand as an entry level coaster due to is smoothness and fun level, this just looks like the next step up and the perfect family coaster. I can't wait to ride this and see what vekoma does next. Also it sounds so awesome and I love the quiet but precise sounds of it functioning.
I just wish they would have picked one of Vekomas big roller coaster! Would have been awesome! But this is such a family park so I believe they picked the right choice!
Big Bear Mountain Coaster is looking excellent 🔥 Whenever next time if I go back to Dollywood I will make sure to ride this it’s definitely on my list of roller coasters to ride.
This ride is perfect for Dollywood was just there during construction and its massive. Wildwood grove is beautiful and will be even better with the 2024 coaster
the funny thing is, I was looking at other user's roller coaster videos about the test runs of big bear mountain, and wondered when you would post it. and now here I am lol.

Looks so good! I just need an opening date. And yes maybe next year I need to plan and join some Coastercrew stuff. Looks like great fun and great people. I think I said that least year too lol.
In Europe, a second multi family launch coaster from Vekoma is also opening in 2023 at Furivik. It is a lot smaller with only 430 meter in track length, but that coaster is going around twice. But also a LIM launched Vekoma Family coaster with the TOGO track design.

I'm never negative Nancy but I think Dollywood missed the mark on building a ride like this that cost this amount. Dollywood already have plenty of kids coasters and already have the business of the families and smaller children. With the unlimited space Dollywood has and how much BBM cost they could of put something similar to Fury 325 for what this thing costs. @@moekitsune yes and spending 25+ million dollars isn't going to bring more families to Dollywood. Dollywood has that demographic covered. What’s that video editing technique called where you layer one audio over several shots of the coaster keeping both audios at once..
topping and tailing is when you extend the audio at the beginning/end of a clip, so if you do that with multiple clips at once, you get an overlap.
