I feel the same, not to undermine Khalyla and Esther but Annie just brings it all together. Hopefully they'll try to renew and find a good grove but it's hard to imagine it ever being as good - Annie you do so much! How will Esther know her place without you around? 😅

I love Annie & Khlayla but I had to stop watching TT months ago. I can't take Esther anymore. She's gross, superfluous, and she torpedo's every conversation with stupid questions or by making it about herself. She treats TT like her personal google.

Trash Tuesday had such interesting conversations, i think due to those three being so different.. i cant help but feel like i haven't been able to get into anniewood because annie and todd are so similar they kinda just casually chat about whats goin on in their daily life.. theres not as much other conversation. I'll try to watch this one more and still support but definitely hella bummed.

Maybe Annie doesn't want to have her best lines fade into the ensemble. Just like Theo. She's an assassin on her own. This is an incredibly smart career move. The only slightly odd thing is she announced it on Anniewood first.
Not everyone is Theo. Sometimes having co-hosts is way better for people, just like Matt and Shane. Shane's obviously the star, but Matt elevates the podcast.

Annie, the stuff you said about knowing roofers had it harder really does speak to the type of person you've always been, but because of that, you should know that we already knew this intuitively. You've never been the type of entertainer that has ever seemed to take it for granted, and that's part of why your fans love you, because we know you don't forget where you came from. Keep on pushin, art requires a sense of freedom to be done effectively, and you gaining some freedom is always worthwhile
As a person who has been fortunate enough to have seen Annie live, I just wanna say this: She's even funnier, more beautiful (hard to believe, I know!) and she just exudes an aura of positivity that honestly must be experienced to understand. The first time I took my gf to one of Annie's shows(we've been to 2 more since), even though she's not into podcasts and went purely to satiate my desire to see Annie was like, "Ok, I get it. She's amazing" Now we're both super fans. The point I'm trying to make is whatever it takes to let this amazing woman be all she can be and give her amazing gift to the world, I support 100%. Yeah, of course I'll miss enjoying her twice a week but let's be honest. She could be on 10 times a week and it wouldn't be enough😂. Seriously though, if what we've all been fortunate enough to get from Annie all this time has been her extending beyond her means, I can't even begin to imagine what type of magic she has yet to offer. Love you, Annie and much respect for choosing to put yourself first! You and Todd are amazing 👏

@@H-Vox Whitney never stopped her Podcast. I think Esther will keep up with it and having multiple hosts means they don't always all have to be there. I expect some guest hosts like they've had in the past. Annie will surely be missed though, but it's good we still get more of her on Anniewood and in the comedy clubs/theatres

Its always worrisome when a podcast cast switches BUT Annie seems really genuine in that she has goals and aspirations that were being dimmed by the amount of work she was doing here. That isn't shade in anyway and I don't think anyone should feel that way. As a creative person I can relate to this. Sometimes "work" takes away from passion and its important for anyone but especially a creative person to regulate their life so they can get that passion out.
By a mile the funniest member of TT, their loss for sure

I stopped watching TT a while ago....
I only watched TrashTuesday when Annie was on. I would fast forward when she was late. Episodes don’t start til Annie arrives, and if Annie isn’t there, it’s almost like Trash Tuesday didn’t even have an episode that week. 😆

I really did not think I could live without alcohol, but here I am, smiling, happy, etc. It robbed me of so many days, but I feel so lucky that I got away from it. I love your podcast and I wish you every bit of happiness.

Neither Esther nor Khalyla are the least bid funny. Lets see whether the two manage to convince another comic to join the gang or come to the common sense solution and just cancel the pod.
The dynamic between you three on Trash Tuesday and how different you all were was the reason I watched Trash Tuesday. You were always definitely the funniest.
Regardless, I think this is the best decision to put your blinders on and focus on the thing that makes you the happiest and what you want to be known for. It will take all your focus to put out a great special and everything else can wait. If you do decide to come back to Trash Tuesday after releasing the special then great. Can't wait to see your special and the next time you perform in OC!
