2021: Made home group with minis in separate rooms. Just paired Vizio sound bar to family room mini as per your instructions (thank you!). Told Google to play UA-cam music & now it is playing on sound bar and master room mini! Fluke? Hope not!

As of right now, I don't believe they will work in stereo with Google Home. You can do multi-room speakers but there may be some delay.

You can't use the BT speaker AND the Google Home speaker at the same time. I didn't have multiple Google Home's to test the multi room sound scenario.

Chromecasts don't have bluetooth built in.

Google Mini 1 has Bluetooth 4.1 and the Mini 2 has BT 5.0

Bluetooth version has a lot to do with range. Make sure there isn't anything in between the speaker and Google Home.

That isn't possible. You can have them both hooked up but you will need to swap the soundbar inputs.

Neither one of those can cast to the Bluetooth speaker, unless you had Google Home.
