YOU JUST SAVED MY LIFE THANK YOU I NEEDED TO KNOW THAT PHEW!! i was like oh no my hair is short how am i going to wear cyberlox but this answers it!! thaaaank yooooou life saver!
+Gabrielle Tollerson Pretty much the exact same story for me. I was all ready to buy a wig just so I could have something to secure them with when I found this video by accident.
Not sure if its been said yet or not, but i have short hair and some times use cyberlox in my drag persona. You could take a very small amount of your hair on the highest point of your crown on your head. This will allow you to bobby pin the wig cap to that small ponytail which in return will reinforce your cyberlox ans lessen the chance of your lox sliding. JUst wanted to give you some tips from dragqueen 101! looking good there!!!!!
Thanks. You can make them as long or short as you want. You will need to cut each piece twice as long as you want the lox to be. If you want them to be 10 inches, you will need to cut 20 inch strands so you can fold them in half. You will need about 15 yards to make a set of 2 cyberlox. Hope this helps! good luck with your cyberlox creation :)
Thanks so much for posting this vid! I've had issues with wearing falls because I have very sensitive hair and scalp. The wig cap idea has solved all my problems. :D
Thank you so much! I just cut almost all my hair off and forgot i was suppose to go to a rave with a friend next week and i was panic. You are a huge life saver 3
I got my falls material from ebay - they're literally easy as pie to attach to a hair band/elastic. You just take your length of material, pull it through the elastic and tie a knot (or a slipknot-style tie if you're using wool dreads). The falls I made myself are a combination of black and purple dreads (made using 'roving wool' I dipped in water and rolled like play-dough and purple candy-striped lox. They're just tied onto hairbands and super easy to fix should a dread/lock come off.
OMG!! Thank you so much brah!! iv bin trying to figure out a way to do this for ever with my short hair. Thanks so much for showing it, i never woulda thought of useing a wig cap!! Ashura
You are welcome! and to answer your question, yes, your falls are probably too thin and the bun could be too large or bulky. Try adding more to your falls and making the bun a bit tighter. That should solve the issue.
I can always make you a set, and yes, you can have any kind of cyberlox you want. different colors, length with different type of material like wool, plastic cord or tubes. I can even put real hair into them so it looks like cyberlox with dreadlox mixed. I do not know any stores to buy them at. You will probably only find them on the internet. Same with cyber masks and goggles. I buy mine on Ebay or raveready. If you want me to make you some cyberlox, let me know! :)
@Flaros Thank you so much. I am sorry to hear about your health problems. I wish you all the best and thanks for watching my video. I'm glad I could help :)
This is an awesome idea! After recently having all my hair cut short I was wondering how best to attach my old falls/cyberlox, but a wig cap would be easy to get hold of. Out of interest (having never worn a cap), how tightly do they fit? I only ask as my lox are very long and as a result quite heavy; is there a way to keep your cap on your head or is it just a case of wearing a tighter headband?
Hi there delearius, great video, thanks for sharing your technique. I'm going to a fairy festival in a couple of weeks time and I plan to go as a cyberfairy so will be using this technique to make my falls. Can you tell me how long each piece of cyberlock is when cut and how many pieces make up a bunch? I know it's probably going to be trial and error but I want to make sure I buy enough cyberlock material. Many thanks in advance. Happy partying :)
Finally someone with with really short hair. All this girls with 'short' hair, who still can make a bun with their hair....they dont know, what real short hair is
Hiiiii your video is really useful. I want to buy a Cyberlox as your (I think is the same model) but I don't understand what is the name of the black thing that cover the hair and in the middle have that bump. Then I'd like to know if you have made it the bump, or if there was already on the "cover hair" :3
I never thought I'd be able to wear my falls (don't own Cyberlocks yet) because I have really short hair. So thank you! - I'm also having issues with my bun showing, whether it's with this method or just my hair. Could it be my falls are too thin or the bun is too big? It's really annoying.
Where do you get them? store or online? Let me know :3 looking for something hopefully online, ive had them before. but i got them as a present, and some how lost them >.< Ps. Love the vid :3
WHat length are your cyberlox? I'm wanting to purchase a pair that at least come down to my mid-bicep or elbow and i'm not sure where to get shoulder or chest length
i've seen others just make them DIY and it is pretty simple to make: It's basicaly the ribbonized hair ties(the ones where ribbons cover it) but BIIIIIIGGGGEEERRR!!!!
You're awesome for posting this and for being yourself. I'm trying to message you because I'm interested in trying cyber but I need some help, but no guarantees the message will go through.

Soooo simple! I have a tri-hawk normally but always wanted dreadfalls/cyberlox...not much hair left on a tri-hawk though! The wig cap is genius!
