하지만 개체차가 분명 있으니 입질도 고려해야합니다.
회색벌레님은 천재가 맞네요. 나뭇잎 던질 때 음악까지 찰떡으로 영상에 맞춰 움직이네요.

오 저도 글라스캣 키우는중인데 튼튼하고 같이 어울려 다니는 모습이 너무 좋더군요. 근데 확실히 동굴아래의 은은히 빛에 무지개 빛으로 비치는 모습이 너무 이쁘네요.

Oh btw, you and your cave scaping encouraged me to attempt something using dragon stone. How difficult I found putting something together, oh my god. Glue was visible at times, almost stuck my fingers together.
But I did attempt it and have finished. It’s not an enclosed cave as I thought I would like and wanted. Parts will be open, the front is open and even some of the sides but I, hoping to enclose the rear of it so it appears this cave is coming out from the rear wall of the tank. It was even more difficult as I was incorporating some larger spider wood that half sits under the cave and the other Alf of that woo is above the cave. Trying to get the branches to fit in with the rocks and glue at the same time was super hard. I still feel I may need to attach a few more rocks at the rear n side to make sure no substrate falls not the cave from behind, that’s the part I’ve had major trouble with.
I’m trying tho....thanks to you xxx

Blind cave tetras would be really cool if you cam find them. They don't even have eyes at all and would be perfect in this setup. That said, the glass cats looked fantastic!
You inspired me to make a cave aquascape! I’ll only show it if it turns out good though, lol. Don’t have a lot of dragon stone to work with.

I wanted an imbellis so bad a while ago. I just couldn't justify the cost to myself, so I ended up buying an alien hybrid from an LFS.
There is a seller on ebay from Thailand who sells imbellis hybrid for 10 dollars and 5 bucks shipping. Must be 1st gen because they look very much like an imbellis. Of course, you have to pay the transhipper too- but I’ve bought beautiful and healthy fish from them twice. Alien hybrids are amazing too though, I wouldn’t be sad to compromise with one of them lol.

@@MaiAriSquee it says “random” on the listing which I assume means they’re selecting randomly from a spawn. Spawn look practically identical to each other especially when you’re breeding wilds. You should check it out if you’re interested :) they’re 168store_online. Remember to check your state’s transhipper when importing, and ask them for an estimate
Overstocked my guy. Great scape but put a different fish
thx for pointing that out! I actually went to the comments to see if anyone talked about this, also I think that a tiny amount of driftwood would look fantastic.
Possibly not overstocked; the ghost cats could be primarily for show (this video) and or with the intention of sizing up once matured since these do look fairly young. As long as the filtration can support their bioload as is supplemented by the tannins and shrimp actively breaking down other negative impacts from increased load, it's fine imho.
I personally prefer understocking my tanks as I feel it's akin to someone living in a mansion versus a studio apartment, but that doesn't mean the studio apartment can't work out. Certain species can even benefit from overstocking; cichlids come to mind, as it (supposedly) reduces aggression in them. I don't keep cichlids, so if you beg to differ, please do lmao.
I definitely advocate for calling out irresponsible fish keeping, but this one doesn't seem too bad, even if it is worst case scenario. The aggression in this tank seems to be effectively mitigated by the Indian Almond Leaves. I don't personally agree with some of the stocking choices (namely, why put a female betta when the ghost cats are already the centerpiece fish? idk), but this guy does seem to know what he's doing in regards to scaping, so I don't think it was a reckless decision. Seems most likely temporary for the entertainment value.

Oh how I love watching your creations. It’s as if I’m watching a giant scene from a fantastic adventure underground movie. I’ve thought of ghost catfish but Kwan’s hesitated thinking will they be right for me, some say they congregate in a corner or hide. They truly are very unique and underrated fish I believe, how unusual can one get, a transparent fish.

What substrate did you use and those leaves, what kind of tree are they?
the leaves are dried almond leaves, they're used to leech tannins into the water. Reduces pH and softens hard water, amongst some other benefits. The substrate I'm not sure, probably some variety of aquascaping soil.
Do you know what filter has him use?

Your water is cloudy, try use carbon active added to your filter.
I believe this was on purpose from the Indian Almond Leaves (also known as Catappa Leaves) he added around the 2:20 mark. You can see the brownish tint come through as the video continues to progress. The tannins leeched from the leaves are used to help with water quality (specifically lowers the PH and are supposedly antifungal and antibacterial) and promotes healing as well as stress reduction in fish /shrimp /inverts. The "tea" coloured tint imbued from the decomposing leaves is often desirable since it mimics the natural environment in many ecosystems, such as the Amazon Rainforest.
However, as you have mentioned, if the tint is undesirable, you can reduce the intensity or appearance of the brown tint by using activated carbon in the filter. My personal preference would be Purigen by Seachem since it's more versatile and can be fairly easily "recharged" (reusable once exhausted). I'm not a shill, just a Seachem fanboy lmao
