The chorus is the most generic, radio rock part of the song.
Which is pretty on pointe for most of Jason's choruses.
At least with Tom, they mix in Danii's harsh vocals and it's less 'La la la, la de da, la la la, la de da' like every one of Jason's choruses.
He's distinct sounding.
Great.
Too bad he's just average as a metal vocalist.
Jason's singing and Dani's screams have always been great, but this is next level. Probably the best vocal combination in metal

@Erich Key note: their OLD stuff. And I'm not sure if you've noticed, but AILD kind of burned a few bridges when Tim tried to have his ex wife murdered. I personally think that Currents have the best diversity in metalcore. The shrieks, the mid range, the growls, the cleans. Those boys are killing it. Erra isn't nearly as heavy nor are they as varied. And it's not scattered or misplaced like some bands. Nor did they go full on Parkway Drive with the cleans. Every song on their latest rips, not a bad song on it.
There's also Atreyu, just sayin.

Jason's voice... Ik that it's great in every track but HOLY CRAP it gives me chills how powerfully he pulls out the chorus of this song. Really gonna miss him in the band.
Pretty easy to make a memorable chorus when the same 6 lines are repeated like 8-10 times each 🤦

Because out of all combinations of heavy and clean vocals, melodic riffs and overall energy in tembre, this album, and basically everything you've been put out, just entertains me to no end on a daily basis, puts me through so many emotions, It's hard to even put into words properly.
