Good to have you and the kids back, missed ya’ll. Good suggestion.
Love seeing yall back at it!!
I just love watching your videos. We were gifted a popup tent trailer this year and I am so excited to use your tips and tricks!
Thank you both, great to see you posting more content. One item I highly recommend is a rechargeable headlamp for each person. I still keep a couple of flashlights around just in case but we rarely use them anymore.
Nice! We do use head lamps but don’t have rechargeable.
Love our heated mattresses that came in our Flagstaff HW29SC!
For cooking we’ve found the NIINJA woodfire 7 position 110v is fabulous and super easy to clean up
Cool, haven’t heard of that one, may need to check it out!
Hi We use bungy cords for our table cloth just get 2 that go around the top of the table they last longer than the clips love your videos
Loved it! You guys nailed it! I would add a portable table…Adams Manufacturing makes little fold up ones that are so handy to put between two camp chairs for books. Found a good price on mine recently at Ace Hardware online….$15 each…that’s cheaper than they used to be. S hooks are invaluable around camp…I use them to hang my trash bag up in the camper. And if you don’t want to use propane to heat up water and you’ve got electric, a little cheap electric kettle from Amazon is awesome to heat up dish water. Don’t forget rugs! All the old rugs from around the house, hang onto those as they get replaced by nicer ones. They are perfect for the camper.
Good tips!
nice video, liked the flying tent.
Great to see u all back at it! great suggestions!
Thank you!!
My wife and I were going through our subscribed channels and said “oh adventures in popups has a new one! We have to watch that!” We’re excited to see where all y’all go this summer. We rented a pop up to test out the experience in a couple weeks so we may be referencing y’all’s videos to get ready!
Awe, thanks!! If you are a tent camper, you will love the upgrade. 😎
@@AdventuresinPopUps I’m a tent camper and have even done some survival stuff. She is a “will the Winnebago fit in that camping space?” Kind of person. So we’re trying to meet in the middle.
Hi Guys- Great to see you both again. That was a lot of really nice pointers for people to ponder. What city in Illinois are you located in? We are just South of Springfield, Illinois by approx. 10mi. We do most of our camping @ Sangchris Lake campgrounds. We also have a really nice pop-up camper. Do you have any plans on doing Sangchris in the future? Have a beautiful day! Happy 2024 camping season! Cheers!!
Yes, we have a campground review for Sangchris but have only been once for our very first maiden voyage! We are east of Springfield now. Trying out Shelbyville next. 😎
Excited to get out again finally ❤
Love all your videos! Thanks for sharing such great ideas! I know you are a family of faith in the Lord as we are. Do you try and attend a local church in the camping area? Sometimes I have found the state parks have preachers will conduct an early morning service in the campground. What are your thoughts and feelings on this subject? Thanks!
Sometimes we find somewhere, sometimes we just have family devotions. We try not to miss weekends at our home church and prefer to camp during the week when we can. A couple times a pop up rallies, we have led a service for everyone.

The heated mattresses are good but how are they with a mattress topper?
Good question, we haven’t tried them yet. But I think it’s a mattress cover, so maybe it could be put on top?
Thanks good to see you guys are back.
What's a good glue for flat plastic curtain rods? E6000? Help!
Hmm, not sure what you mean. When we did our curtains, we used zip ties to attach hooks to the C clips. We do have a curtain video with more ideas.
Question: How did you hang your star sky tapestry's? We bought a couple and tried velcro but it didn't work.
We added elastic to the corners. The back 2 corners tuck in under the frame (we added a snap so it stays better). And the front two corners get their elastic safety pinned to the top corner of the curtains where you can’t see. I hope that makes sense! It is number 4 on our top 10 video, you can see better there.
