Hey y'all I wanted to ask will you guys have any parts for the 42rle up on yall's site to purchase ? im only seeing the billet accumulator piston Id like to upgrade my valve body with something similar shown in the video,The only "upgrade" theres out there is from ATS but many dont like those guys so id like to try yall !
Before you get the valve body upgrade you should check your CVI (clutch volume index) to make sure everything is within safe operating parameters. You may have bigger issues than the valve body can fix.
Your truck is beautiful. Im supper surprised they're not selling well. Id buy one in a heart beat if the dealers weren't over pricing them. Anything with that capital "C" on the side and theyre taxing for it.
Randy great video, I got an 2016 Ram 2500 that threw a P0871 code. I need to change just about everything you changed on your truck including the solenoid, if its not to much trouble could you provide where you got yours from.
I did not do a "quick Learn". I simply drove the truck for 100 miles or so at partial throttle to allow the transmission to learn. It is still going strong.
Hi Gabriel, the P0871 code is caused by bore wear around the solenoid switch valve inside the valve body. This product WILL fix that code as long as you don’t have an electrical issue which is very very uncommon!
You got lucky not doing the relearn, wicih should be done when swapping valve bodies. With out doing it sometimes it will throw a code and put the truck in "limp mode" and won't shift above 4th gear.
Wonderful to see Randy! Glad you’re enjoying the fastest shifting, most proprietary valve body on the market. 😎
Ever run sells on the valve body?
@@b-ry2098 Hello! Our pricing is the same every day of the year. Why not give us a call Tuesday and see if we can work up something special for you?

So I don’t have to do a relearn with a scanner I can just drive it for 100 miles in town and be good ?
Off topic but how do you like those headlights?
Would this valve body install affect my manufacturer's warranty?
Hiw is everything holding up?
Still going strong.
Did you do a relearn on this .will this fix a 0p871 code

You dont relearn the new vb?
I found some answers from your link! Great thanks to you!
I did not do a quick learn with a scanner. I simply drove the truck for a little more than 100 miles at a gentle style and let it learn as I drove.
Thanks, today I do the swap when weather get warmer! The filter o-ring is worst part....@@TheDieselArmy
