This track is seriously gorgeous. Around the 1 minute mark you can hear something that sounds a lot like the Chamber of Innocence theme, tieing it wonderfully into the whole "GLORY OF THE ETERNAL EMPIRE" thing that Arimor has going on. Spot on, as always!
A superb atmospheric track, glad to see that it will be available in the hideout player. Even though PoE has a fantastic soundtrack, this is the only track besides the original Lioneye's Watch theme that I enjoy listening to in the background while working on the computer.
That lantern better be one of the challenge mtx or a purchasable shield mtx if not. "Glows brighter based on the number of corpses nearby, emitting wisps at maximum radiance" XD
It's already in there, isn't it? I could have sworn it was on the list. They definitely don't update the tracks on there as often as they should, can agree on that at least lol
Honestly, I have no idea why I never added it. We try not to add absolutely everything as it bloats the game files but, I guess i'll add it to the list of things to maybe look at if I have time.
It is actually me that implements all the music and sets up the hideout player as well. I also do quite a bit of sound design for both PoE1 & 2@@purge2202
Then I have a question for you. In the music player, under "Boss Fights", there's a song called "The Warlord". It's the song that plays during Baran's fight, but "Warlord" is the moniker that Drox goes by. My question is, was Drox originally meant to be Kirac's brother, not Baran?@@MJCollierComposer
Uhm... this gives me the Heroes of Might and Magic III -> Necropolis Theme of Paul Anthony Romero vibe. I like it, but it is not as good as Lake of Kalandra or the Crucible Theme... and sorry to say this, it is because it reminds me of Necropolis from HoMM3. Good soundtrack nonetheless.
It is not, you got it all wrong, i simply stated that i cannot enjoy it as much as LoK or the Crucible... Sorry if sounded bitchy. And yes, it is due to the fact(S) that it'll remind me of Necro from HoMM3@@starklife1
@@nachtsongsieben5484 all good bro I'm only happy you know what homm3 is, and I agree with your correlation sorry if my reply seemed invalidating in any way! SS EXILE.
I played a ton of HoMM back in the day, and we joked about using harpsichord + some elements from that theme simply cause of the names being the same. Wouldn't be surprised if I unintentionally added in some similar elements to the HoMM music!
@@MJCollierComposer mannnn it shows that you have that history and appreciation for old classics, I love this new theme! I think I like it even more as a slow theme because a lot of Poe themes are so fast and intense for events that after the 999th league mechanic I have to shut off music for awhile now matter how good it is, this one gonna last even longer! Beautiful work!
Great track! Wonder if we will be able to use this as custom music in the hideout. Any interesting instruments used here that are maybe not the norm? Side note, your linked twitter account on your profile doesn't exist. But maybe that is intentional
Nice spot, missed that when I changed my twitter handle hah. As for the music, it's already set up so it will be under 'Necropolis' in the hideout player when 3.24 goes live. Instrument wise, the only 'different' instruments would be the Guitar layered with a Ronroco to make it really stick out. I did also send the entire track through my eurorack, resynthesizing it through a module called Panharmonium. Then layered that underneath certain sections of the piece as an ambient pad. Was fun messing with it cause I only just got the module.
Just "watched" (well, listened^^) all your POE videos. Thanks for your wonderful work, you're beyond talented!
Michael you are a blessing man. Incredible music and talent. Hope you stick around for a long time!

The Chamber of Innocence is is a different culture, even though the Eternals were the predecessors, its like saying Italian architecture is Roman
Awesome, as always!
I got some The Last of Us vibes with this one... Amazing job by the way.

Cool cool, when lycia boss battle music coming to hideout player?

i dont believe he is in charge of that. He makes the music, not the game and its elements. He's provided the music, the rest is GGG

You say that like it's a bad thing...I still play homm3 to this day. Some of us are old people now. This is sublime.
