Sir thank you for the speech. I have one question please clarify as you are saying they are mirror of god, why are they following un touch-ability still. Because of which People are moving to other religions. Let’s take your Tamilnadu state itself over the period the population of Christians are increasing. The place where I am staying Bangalore with in 2 kms range 60 churches are there. Please clarify this and pardon me if I said anything wrongly. Thank you

Untouchability is different, they are practising "madi", the infallible and ultimate energies as a result of extreme sadhana , is stored in the bodies of these Jagadgurus. That is why they do not eat non veg foods, onion, garlic etc, always engage in "shudh" practises etc, whereas we don't know If the person in front is equally capable of handling that energies, if his body is pure enough. Thats why jagadgurus don't touch any person, regardless of caste. They work for lokajanasukha, and using speeches tell us margas to attain liberation, untouchability is completely different

We understand and appreciate the sincerity in your post.
However, there seem to be multiple questions in this post. We would liked to clarify the meaning of untouchability in your statement because not touching the Guru is not what is referred to in the social science textbooks under the term. In fact, what percentage of Hindus are aware that the Shankaracharyas are the Highest Authorities of Shastras and Jnana when it comes to Hinduism? The Jagadguru Shankaracharyas are far from being recognised as mainstream Teachers and Authorities of Hinduism and merely a tiny percentage of Hindus are aware of their presence, or take their darshan once in their lifetime let alone follow or be influenced by Their Guidance when it comes to the understanding of Hinduism. In fact, we find that thousands among even the Hindus who flock to Sringeri to have darshan of Sharadamba throughout the year are not even aware that there are Jagadgurus sitting right beside the temple at Narasimha Vana. If you stated that certain practices of Achara for the sake of Anushtana performance by Sringeri Jagadgurus are the reason for people to leave Hinduism, it would be a questionable statement.
Hence, we see at least 2 questions in the post you have made:
      1. If the Jagadgurus are the mirror of God, why are not allowed to touch Them? (Since this is not the reference to the social evil of "untouchability" that is mentioned in the context of caste, which was a social practice that developed from a corruption in the interpretation of Sanatana Dharma)
      2. Why is there untouchability in Hinduism, because this is the reason for conversion away from Hinduism.
Strictly speaking, even question 2 needs to be broken down into further sub-questions but we'll try to keep it this way and answer them
      -----
      Answer to Question 1:
      It begins with Achara.
When looking at the symbolic Umbrella with the emblem of the Mutt, the staff of the Sringeri Mutt being carried by the Pandit who announces the arrival of the Jagadguru while reciting Their titles from the Birudavali, while seeing Them arrive in a comfortable car, while seeing Them adorned in the crown and jewels of Sharadamba during Navaratri - or in this case, devotees refraining from touching Them and insisting that no one touches Them, the lay person forgets to understand that none of this is for them.
Although it is necessary to see Them as none other than Dakshinamurthy or Sharadamba, for the sake of this discussion, let us see Them as Dandi-Sannyasis (Advaitic-staff-carrying Sannyasis), which is essentially their appearance. Dandi-sannyasis have, just like other sannyasis, given up all attachment to possessions, so they would remain unaffected if any of these appearances of status were to be taken away from them. The stability of someone's equilibrium is tested only when there is a disturbance to that equilibrium. However, as devotees we cannot even think of inflicting inconveniences or disturbances upon the Gurus. The next best thing we have for our reference is their Charithra or Divine History. Besides each Jagadguru Shankaracharya being the direct image of the previous Acharya, there have been countless examples that there is indeed a deep similarity that extends to every Guru in the lineage, so by picking any Jagadguru, we should be Two reasons: Guru-bhakti and the good of the world. Worship is unnecessary for those who have realized the Self, and while this is true for any Jagadguru in the Sringeri Shankaracharya Peethas, it is particularly true in the case of the 33rd Guru who was seen chanting "sarvoham" the very night He took sannyasa. However, these two Vigrahas were Handed down to Adi Shankara Bhagavatpada by Lord Ganesha and Lord Shiva themselves, and then carefully handed down by each Guru of the Avichchinna Guru-Parampara for safekeeping for the good of the Mutt and the world at large, and uninterrupted worship for the good of the entire cosmos.
This "good of the entire cosmos" is the reason for any form of worship performed by the Jagadgurus, be it a Puja during a temple visit, Pujas on festival days at Guru Nivasa or Sharadamba Temple, the Kumbhabhishekams of temples, the worship of Chandramoulishwara and Sri Chakra, or any other tapas or Anushtana performed by these Jivanmuktas.
This brings us to the question. And the answer, in one simple word, is tapas.
The Jagadgurus are human forms of the Shastras themselves. They are embodiments of every prescriptions of the Vedas and other Sanatani scriptures that prescribe how worship must be performed, and They follow it to the dot, again, for the good of the world and absolutely no personal interest. This includes aspects of cleanliness that require sophisticated preparations including but not limited to taking a bath. In our everyday life, we break prescriptions of shastras easily, and by touching the Guru, we are rendering them in a situation where they will have to carry out cleansing processes before every worship they have to perform - a lot of which is in private.
This will introduce inconveniences and additions into Their schedule which is already jam-packed with worship, study and teaching of the Shastras, giving darshan, guidance and blessings to every single devotee who comes to Guru Nivasa, where they have no more time than for one meal a day and four hours of sleep.
able to describe thhe qualities of the current Jagadguru. When the Sringeri Mutt was ransacked during the time of the 33rd Sringeri Shankaracharya, Jagadguru Sri Sri Sachchidananda Shivabhinava Nrisimha Bharati Mahaswamiji, all that the Jagadguru was concerned about were the Vigrahas of the Ratnagarbha Ganapati and the Chandramoulishwara Linga. He had no concern for any other property of the Mutt, clearly showing that the Jagadguru, though adorned with the symbols of the Mutt, is completely detached from the Mutt.
Why, then, is the Jagadguru, a sannyasi, attached to these Vigrahas?
By refraining from touching Them, we are simply saving Them the trouble of going through cleansing process that They may have to undergo before Their personal Japas, Danda-pujas and other routines of worship in addition to the Pujas They perform in public.
This is more a gesture of respect and love of devotees and disciples that adds a little convenience to the hectic day of a Jivanmuktas who have achieved all that they need to, do not need to live on this planet for one more day given Their perspective, and who have chosen to live for years to come for the selfless sake of blessing and praying for Their devotees and disciples.
Is this something that we should label as "untouchability" and use as an accusation?
      Answer to Question 2:
This has a lot of mainstream answers. The practice of untouchability is not a scripture-enforced tradition of Sanatana Dharma - even in sampradayas that agree with birth-based Jati, but is a social concept that arose, admittedly in Hindu society. It has been battled against by countless reformers and saints throughout the Holy Land of Bharat.
Adi Shankara Bhagavatpada Himself wrote the Manisha panchakam in the context that irrespective of social status, a realized person can be a Guru.
If the excuse of "untouchability" is used by systems that try to steal the identity of Hindus through conversion, the answer is perhaps that those who convert haven't understood the complex concepts of Sanatana Dharma.
We can only say, please come forward, ask your questions, because there is no other way we can educate each other about what Hinduism is.
