    Hermano, tengo una Speed Twin 1200 2023 y siento que a más de 100 km/hr la moto la mueve el viento. Deja de ser divertido.

    try a more aero helmet...What I been using the last 5+years now are the vintage style helmets cause they don't have all those air ducts to catch wind. These types of helmets are also smaller outside cause they don't have the empty air passage ways inside. Several giveaways that tell a helmet is un-aero, wind noise is the main one (wind noise from the neck/chin area doesn't count but everywhere else on the helmet is an indicator), when you turn your head to check blind spot how much does the helmet catch the wind and cranks your neck to that side, how much pressure/force on your neck pushing your head back cause the helmet catches so much wind at 80+. But having a small screen as you said in the video does concentrate more air onto your helmet. I pretty much ride with no windscreen cause it is just cleaner air.

      @@TheManToys Ones I have used. Bell Bullet which has some ventilation but the bubble shield does catch wind when checking blind spot so go with the flat shield. The Bullet is a little narrow for my round head at the temples. Biltwell GringoS has no vents but I don't recommend cause the face shield is not sealed against the helmet so lets in dust particles. I actually prefer the Gringo over the GringoS but the Gringo uses a snap on face shield so does not flip open. Gringo is a tad bit more round than the Bullet but I can still feel narrowness towards the back sides corner of head. Currently using Simpson M30, the most round fitting of the three but I do feel a little narrowness just above my ears. Chin bar vent really well almost like a dirtbike helmet, has a thick rubber seal against the shield, I think is the quietest of the three. Just got an Aria Rapide Neo Asian market model and it fits like a glove. The only helmet that has ever felt perfect upon first try, no need to break-in. Don't think I'll ever buy another N.American market helmet ever again after this. The M30 is actually also a Asian market helmet that sold here in N.America. The Rapide Neo that is sold here in N. America differs and is more narrow or intermediate oval as they call it. I haven't ridden the Neo yet but will try to this weekend. Neo also has some venting similar to Bullet.

    Bro you and I have the same problem. I have a 2022 Speed Twin and I am 5'6". I KNOW the problem of riding that thong-like saddle. Does moving the handlebars back relieve the stress on the shoulders?

    Loved the video.. As a short rider myself, I can't flat foot ST 1200, so I have been thinking about ST900. In your experience does it matter - I can flat foot maybe 90% both sides but not fully?

    • @TheManToys
      @TheManToys  Рік тому +2

      I have never been able to flat foot both feet. As you gain more experience, you fill find that you don't need to put both feet down. You only need to put one foot, typically the left foot and keep the tight on there rear brake. Im thinking about making a video for short riders as there are many tricks of the trade that I have learned through the years. Do you think that would help?

    • @bharatmin2
      @bharatmin2 Рік тому

      @@TheManToys Yes that will really help. Not on this topic, but does ST1200 get really hot ? I hear folks talking about that being a big deal.

    • @TheManToys
      @TheManToys  Рік тому +1

      I don't notice it. It's like any other motorcycle lol. Maybe on the traffic light. the heat is nothing compared to my Scrambler 900 due to the placement of the exhaust. If you get the ST1200, you will be happy with it.

    Thats why i try do avoid riding this thing on the Autobahn. As long as im driving normal streets in the wood and hills im comfy i also like the wind cause it keeps me down from speeding to much

    Which Dart windscreen do you recommend, the smaller one or the bigger one?

    • @TheManToys
      @TheManToys  Рік тому

      Both look awesome that’s why I bought an extra windscreen for 50 bucks since they are interchangeable. If I can only pick one, i would go with the classic (bigger).

    dont put your phone on that mount without a vibration dampener. your phone's camera will only last a couple rides before it gets destroyed.

    Hey man, enjoy your videos! Where did you get those mirrors for your triumph? I've got some stock circle mirrors and while they are alright I wouldn't mind getting something a little more aggressive looking like the ones you've got on your speed twin.
