I didn't have the experience or money for leatherwork at the time, so mine was made out of pleather. Two sheets of it, one for the top that shows and one for the underside, then I put a piece of 1-inch-thick foam board between them to give it a slightly puffy look and keep it's shape. Then I just sewed them together and painted the designs on with fabric paint.
Great work. I plan on making my own costume when i can afford to. The upper most layer jacket and the hood are actually supposed to be white leather btw.
I actually have a layer of 1-inch foam padding between the outer layer and the red inner lining. It poofs them out a little bit and helps keep the shape.
Great costume! I am starting mine soon. I was debating on which one I should make--this one, or the one from brotherhood--I finally decided on this one. We will see how it goes! As a side note, how did you attach the emblem to the belt? Or did the person who made it for you do that?
about what you said about not buying costumes online, you could buy it and then improve on it, it'll save you some money, and you'll already have a base to work with, just buy whatever else you need for the costume
Comparing your costume to Mueldex's, your shoulder pads are much more accurate - stiffer, I'd say. Did you use interface fabric or some other way to achieve this?

I wasn't aware there were requirements to be considered "living". I guess I'll go tell Ubisoft to take down their videos I was in and RoosterTeeth to take down the artwork they bought from me, considering they involve someone who doesn't exist. Thank you for your input.
the problem with alot of these costumes is that if you look at the game you get the feeling that the material used is thick-ish and heavy like but most people use light and thin materials which doesnt get the look right like with the hood alot of people make the hoods to big or the hood material isnt quiet thick/heavy so it kind of just slumps and moves in the wind but with a heavy material it wouldnt really do this i have always thought that but good try best i have seen but use heavier stuff

You should have put a wire in the beak of the hood so u could bend it upwards and then slanted downward like in the games
