How about Spar, Checkers and Pick 'n Pay use their delivery bikes to take food and warm drinks to these truck drivers as a service to these drivers while they are waiting to move on to their destinations. Or another idea is for the employers do their charitable service to their drivers and order food on 60/60 or other supermarkets delivery bikes to take food to these people and also they need security while they are being held up.
Faithnaidoo...next time you travel to JHB match travel speed the fully loaded tankers .go at from bottom of M7 just to mooi river toll...see long it takes..many many hours..to just get to where that driver is at midmar dam...
