Hi Jamie! Just wanted to extend a big THANK YOU! I got engaged in May and we had our wedding mid-august. My Fiance and I were still in school. Your videos saved me. We had our ceremony at a city park (rose garden, BEAUTIFUL and chairs were all included), seperate reception location, I found a sandwich catering company for all the food (and got all the moms/grandmas to bring dessert - I also made my wedding cake) and we had a ton of selection and leftover. We had a photographer, videographer, flowers, I asked some family friends to help out with making sure food was topped up, my mom's friend was our bartender, etc.. It was all PERFECT. We had a ton of people tell us it was the best wedding they have been to, and trust me we did nothing fancy; your guests are there to see two people in love, they don't care about things as long as they have a place to sit, beverages, food, and good music in the background! (Our total cost was about 6k).
Yes, I agree with you Jamie! I’ve been engaged for 8 months now, we’re so close to our wedding now. Since both my fiancé and I are finishing our schooling, we tell each other “We’re not getting married this week. Pretend we’re not getting married to focus on our exams.” It has helped us to not get burnt out!
Didn’t realize my question would actually be answered! Love this channel and The Master Plan. I just got engaged last month and both have been so incredibly helpful with planning!
I don't know if you have one already but if not I think many people would find it helpful if you could do a video on doing your own music for the reception (i.e. using a spotify playlist as opposed to a dj). Love your videos!
I tried Jamie's quiz and im not even engaged 🤣 just to see how the quiz is like. Its really short and direct with something free at the end aside from the quiz' result. 🤫😉 really recommend it for engaged couples 💙💙💙
I love your channel sooooo much, but I do wish you would acknowledge that there are vendors that are more predatory in the wedding industry. About 50% of the vendors I've contacted are, not great at best, and predatory at worst. I am taking the class and it is great and helped SO MUCH and your channel is awesome. I know you are in a bubble of excellent vendors, but at least in my area, there are some extremely shady and predatory vendors.
So wish I'd watched her videos before planning my wedding. One thing I don't think I've seen one on is different types of hire, I wish I'd heard of dry/wet hiring venues I could have saved money on the food not realising I didn't have to go with their package!! 😧
I love these videos! They’ve been so helpful! Could you do a video of things to know when hiring a hosted bar service vendor. It’s been very confusing.
Thanks for the Facebook suggestion! I live in a small town and have struggled to find photographers even though I'm sure we have plenty. Google and wedding apps want me to hire someone from the city two hours away. 🙃
Have you ever done yacht weddings or anything different like that and if so can u do a video on that and what's involved in planning a wedding on that.
Omg this Facebook group tip is amazing! What are some key words I should be looking for when searching for groups? General wedding planning groups in my area or do I look for more specific (ex: Chicago wedding photographers, Atlanta wedding DJs etc.)
Dear Jamie, My wedding is on Feb 26, 2022. Next month. We are doing the consolidation of our married and a small reception. I wish I would have seem your videos at least a month before. I still don't have my wedding dress and I am so lost :( LOve your content!
Though they were not that expensive I regret getting the All-in-one invitations where the rsvp card is a postcard. The "rip off" tape that is included sucked. All the response cards I got back had parts of the color ripped off. So regret buying them.
Do you have tips for being the best client possible? I'm not even engaged yet but I'd love to know how to best interact with vendors and stuff ❤ I know some vendors get annoyed by brides price-shopping or browsing and stuff like that - how can we do that respectfully? Thank you!!
Ive been trying to use your link for wedding timeline and for some reason its not working.. it goes to the page, but after i type my email and click engaged and try to submit.. it has a little *required by the part were I check if im engaged or not and doesnt subcribe or send email.☹

I feel like I’m cheating to get all these information for free. I cannot thank you enough Jamie!

Finally engaged while watching these videos.
I like these videos can not thank you enough. Feeling really supported by you. muah.
I was literally googling alcohol calculator when Jamie said there’s one in the Master Plan😂. Thanks for reminding me! So glad I have it.
Still loving these vids even though it’s after my wedding!

That’s a super amazing idea, wow
Wedding planning has been super easy am I doing it wrong? we're 45 days out and everythings done 😊🤷♀️
Oof. One of my groomsmen already ordered through our event on Gen Tux before I saw this video with the coupon code 😅
Ugh!! Our venue cost $40,000… but it’s in Vail, CO so maybe that’s why.
Oh. My. Gawd. Phhhhheeeeeewww.
Was there like, a whole waterfall and eagles flying in?

Jamie - Do you offer a military discount on the master plan?
Why does the scam part sound like something my step dad would say to get out of paying for somthing? 😂😂
Wow! I've never been early for anything! Lol
Could you do a video about alternatives for music
You’re so cute. You look like you’re 22! When I found out you had kids I was like what?!
You have a Pinterest?! Yay
does the master plan have an app? or is it all through a website
all thru website
It’s probably through just a website since apps are hard to make and maintain
