I'm going to be using a Kiki K A5 ring Agenda that I have set up with your HB90 system in it to help with my writing this year. Also an Erin Condren A5 ring Agenda for a daily affirmation word to help me with motivation along with a Folio that is from Erin Condren to carry my notes in from reading Save the Cat to help with writing my book. And a regular 3 ring binder for all my other writing stuff. As always love your 2022 planners. The one George got you from Cloth and Paper is Gorgeous. Thank you for sharing Sarra
I have a blank dotted journal from Michaels, and have finally found a simple system that works for me! I make my own dailies and monthlies and use small sticky tabs that I can move around if need be. Love your videos!

This year I'm using up old notebooks (some I've had since middle school! I'm 34!) and a hole punch to make a sort of 'coat of many colors' planner with different papers, different colors/sizes/patterns etc. I also tore pages out of old planners. I'm hoping using old stuff will both help me feel good for recycling instead of tossing, and overcome my not wanting to 'mess up' a beautiful new planner.
I never thought about reusing a planner. I am going to try that. Never crossed my mind to whiteout the numbered days and use it again. About to gather my old planners now and see what I came come up with.
I honestly envy people for their ability to use multiple planners. I tried last year, and it did not work out at all. Although it makes so much sense to me to have a dedicated planner for different purposes, I just don't have the time or patience to keep up with them all. This year I purchased a very large notebook from 'Wish' and have made a customized catch all journal that is much easier for me to keep up with. Bullet journal in the front, then sections for what else I want to have separated. Keep up the awesome videos tho, you are giving me ideas for things I would like to start documenting. Much love.
Using an EC monthly to track migraines (trying to unriddle why the uptick in frequency), an EC deluxe for family life/memory keeping, HB90 goals planner for my writing projects and still using a repurposed HP for plotting. BTW: any videos you put out I cherish and watch repeatedly, first and second time to enjoy and every other time as soothing background for my migraine days. I am getting a happy planner for this year. I have a Blue Sky one that goes to June. I am using my planner a lot now since my Zoom class schedule for my day program for adults with Autism changed a bit. I am adjusting to my new schedule. Change is hard for me due to my Autism. Having my schedule in writing helps me.
I only use 2: Hobonichi Cousin Avec for daily journaling and art journaling. I don’t use the monthly pages but I use the weekly sections for gratitude, affirmations, ideas, photos, memories, more art. Next I use a Mega Weeks for my everyday calendar and planner and the back pages to plan, list, make notes on classes I teach, notes for when I travel, etc. I use various other journals for art (I teach artful journaling and I am an art teacher as well) and this year I am trying an Archer and Olive notebook with white, kraft and black pages. Hello from (near) Houston. I have an idea for the little planner. I'm putting together a reference planner. It would largely be kept at home. As a new/prospective homeowner it's helpful to keep a list of all the measurements in the house, preferred paint colors, etc. If you find a couch you adore you could record the measurements and when you are house hunting you know if it would fit. We were flooded and in limbo waiting to find another house so it helped to have a place for all the ideas in my head. Also reference stuff, records of medical appointments, credit card numbers, maintenance on the car. Get it in a planner so it's not taking up valuable space 😂
This is a great planning system, Sara. I liked that there is a main planner with the rest going from there. It’s basically how I’m doing my planning and reading system. I got an EDC one (Hobonichi Mega Weeks) with the rest going from that (5-yr Hobonichi A5 and A6 for memory keeping and gratitude/self-like; a DYI A5 journal). I also got a reading log system (a B5 Stalogy, Always Fully Booked, and some notebooks) that has been helpful in organizing my reading. Like someone said, keep the Hobonichi covers; as for the extra A6 techno, maybe give it to your hubby or even your son, which may help start him in his journaling. Hope that suggestion helps in some way. TFS!
I'm using the Erin Condren Petite Folio on the Go for my work/personal. I'm using an Agenda 52 coiled planner as a writing/social media planner. My son and daughter-in-law gave me a gift certificate at Christmas to the EC website. I just received (like about 30 minutes ago received) my new Hello Kitty velvet pencil pouch, a mid-century circle ballpoint pen, and the vision journal notebook. I think I'm set for 2022.
Over the past several years I was using a number of planners. Now that I'm taking a break from my teaching and personal assistant jobs to focus on my writing, I'm trying to bring it all in to one planner. This year I've chosen the Dream book and Planner from Dragontree. So far I like it, but after seeing your video this morning I think I'll need your planner as well because this one doesn't really have the space for my sprints and things like that. So much to think about!!!
Happy New Year. I use a classic happy planner monthly planner for research, settings and character Arcs. I have the big teacher planner for writing scenes and ideas.
A Hobonichi cousin is my main planner and has been for several years. I am using an EC planner for my HB90 plans which I am also using as sort of a portable Kanban board. I have The Budget Mom budget notebook for my budget. I would use the techo's to really plan out layouts in you new house, purchasing plans for furniture etc. For me, the Weeks would get too full, too quickly. I do carry a Weeks with me for my work schedule, notes, grocery lists. etc.

Biggest goals this year is to do a daily, weekly, and monthly spread even if it’s a one card draw and use that as a theme or intention for the time period

This year I have a primary planner for everything, one separate planner for work/writing projects only and one to use as a health/fitness journey tracker/journal. I'm using the HB90 planner, a bullet journal, and several Tula Xii planners for my businesses and personal life (including a Tula Xii planner in my emergency kit).
Great video! If you have a Gmail address for each of your "identities" then you can share their Google calendars with each other and see schedules for both in one place. On my Google Calendar on my phone and PC, I can see my personal calendar, school calendar (I am a teacher), hubby's personal and business calendars, and my daughter's calendar all in one place. You can control how much access each has if need be (your assistant could see your personal calendar, but not allowed to change, etc.)

Thanks for sharing and I certainly bounce from thinking I want everything in one planner versus having many separate planners. But ultimately I find that when i try to combine everything, i get overwhelmed. Whereas if I partition out each element into a different planner/book, it seems easier to concentrate and get things done.

I love all of your planners. I just got a Salty Katie Co. cover for the A5 Hobonichi 5 year. She now has them. You just have to make sure to order the one for the 5 year and not the cousin. I have the black star one like on your Cousin and it fits my 5 year perfectly. I am so happy to now have a cover for it. :)
HB90 of course! Love that planner. I like the divisions on the daily. I can put every thing in it. Workouts, food, tarot, sleep and my writing and reading. The only thing I changed was to add more on the time line. Till 2 am. Happy New Year!
I'm still figuring out my system for 2022 lol. I have it partly set up as far as budget, health, and general planning, but I still need one for writing and one for home maintenance/projects. The last 3 years I've pretty much used only 1 planner but this year I'm using 3. Not sure if I will end up overwhelmed with it but I keep trying to remind myself it's okay to not use every planner, every day lol
That EC teacher planner could work super well for a plotting notebook. You could have sections for each sequence in a story. I always think that when I see one of those in the wild.

Ugh, I missed the Animal Crossing cover. I wanted that so bad. I may have to do some stalking on eBay. My planner lineup so far is a frankenplanned EC with vertical weeks and dailies. I’m still deciding about my budget planner and I have a moleskine as a kind of bullet journal for random stuff and a dated moleskine that I’m going to use as a writing journal. I’m still figuring out my tarot journal as well.
For the A6 planners, I would totally gift or sell one of the planners and keep the covers so you can switch the covers back and forth. Or you could just keep it for next year too. 😊
I am using a day designer daily planner I got from target back in September. I’m not totally satisfied with it. I also have a monthly from plum paper that I use for future planning. I really need a monthly, weekly plus options for the daily. But it can’t be on happy planner discs tho cause they always break on me. I am wanting to try carpe diem brand planners but I’m not sure how the rings will hold up. It’s hard to find what works.

I’m working on myself because I have great plans, I just fail at following through with them. Like for example, I had great plans for this year, but I have already messed up. I get depressed then I just say screw everything. I need mental health healing.
Your plans are still great and so are you. There's so much that might be going on there. Maybe you're expecting too much of yourself for where you are in your journey. Maybe you're resistant to the work because of old patterns and self-sabotage (deep down not really feeling worthy of success or being 'Good enough'.) No matter what's happening, YOU are not flawed. You are exactly where you need to be, and you are worthy of success and joy! I'm thinking about doing a 5 day "follow through" Challenge because trust me, this is an issue for so many of us! Hang in there!

This is another great video. You have chosen so many cute planners. This year for the first time I am going completely digital with my planning. But since I am still a paper lover, I am still using paper journals for my journaling. Does your HB90 planner come in digital form because I would love to use that to plan out my writing projects.

If you haven't already, you might want to mention the lack of codes and missing packages to the post office as well - they were right on it when I had to report a package missing that wasn't where it was it should have been at my apartment complex (fortunately it turned out to be misplaced, not stolen).
I also have a big stack and I love it and keep up with it! It’s my hobby so I don’t feel guilty at all! Some things have switched around since I moved into a permanent home and my needs changed a bit. I didn't end up really keeping up with the Hobonichi weeks or the A6 planners. I've got a new B6 stalogy that I've used for my 6months4life projects and I've used an hourly and then an EC compact vertical for my social media. But I think everything else, I've kept up with as explained! Excited to go through my 2023 planners, because I've got a few changes and simplifications coming.

In 2022 I abandoned every planner i bought...its been really hard to find something i can keep up and enjoy. I was remembering ur notebook challenge, and doing the math if I use one notebook a month it would take me 12 years to finish them all...T.T

your CP you have to learn how to lay flat. put a fat heavy book on your left side and let it stay there for hours. I just did with my Filofax malden Personal, and now it opens flat. Oh i love those black rings htere. Enjoy your planners. I am in a BIG HP, an A5 CarpeDiem and my Malden at the moment.
Why does anyone need to have so many planners? If you cannot control your life in 1 maybe 2 (work vs home), then you're not as organized as you think you are and you need to focus on that instead of spending so much time plotting planners.
I am a social media manager by trade and found Later to be the best social media digital scheduler for posting to multiple platforms! With a free account you can still schedule to multiple profiles (multiple instagrams, facebooks, etc.) so you can get a feel for the layout before you invest.
Haha, it's okay! I can't remember why I didn't like Later? Maybe it was one where it was tough to post to lots of different Facebook groups? I can't remember why it wouldn't work for me! I'm using FeedHive.

I love my Plum Paper goal planner! I'm on my third year using Plum. Also love the simple stitched Moleskine notebooks.
The last 3 years I've pretty much used only 1 planner but this year I'm using 3. Not sure if I will end up overwhelmed with it but I keep trying to remind myself it's okay to not use every planner, every day lol
That EC teacher planner could work super well for a plotting notebook. You could have sections for each sequence in a story. I always think that when I see one of those in the wild.

I’d forgotten about having a writing journal and would love to see your 2022 set up alongside the HB90 writing goals. Ps. Keep your Hobonichi cover-on-cover journals ~ you won’t go wrong 😅
I tend to buy a ton of planners, and which one do I use? Sarra's HB90! I love the setup and use it all, versus the other planners which I tend to leave half blank. Thank you Sarra!
Ugh, I missed the Animal Crossing cover. I wanted that so bad. I may have to do some stalking on eBay. My planner lineup so far is a frankenplanned EC with vertical weeks and dailies. I’m still deciding about my budget planner and I have a moleskine as a kind of bullet journal for random stuff and a dated moleskine that I’m going to use as a writing journal. I’m still figuring out my tarot journal as well.
For the A6 planners, I would totally gift or sell one of the planners and keep the covers so you can switch the covers back and forth. Or you could just keep it for next year too. 😊
I am using a day designer daily planner I got from target back in September. I’m not totally satisfied with it. I also have a monthly from plum paper that I use for future planning. I really need a monthly, weekly plus options for the daily. But it can’t be on happy planner discs tho cause they always break on me. I am wanting to try carpe diem brand planners but I’m not sure how the rings will hold up. It’s hard to find what works.

I’m working on myself because I have great plans, I just fail at following through with them. Like for example, I had great plans for this year, but I have already messed up. I get depressed then I just say screw everything. I need mental health healing.
Your plans are still great and so are you. There's so much that might be going on there. Maybe you're expecting too much of yourself for where you are in your journey. Maybe you're resistant to the work because of old patterns and self-sabotage (deep down not really feeling worthy of success or being 'Good enough'.) No matter what's happening, YOU are not flawed. You are exactly where you need to be, and you are worthy of success and joy! I'm thinking about doing a 5 day "follow through" Challenge because trust me, this is an issue for so many of us! Hang in there!

Happy New Year! I love this video and I love the idea of an affirmations journal! I have just the little hobonichi for that! Thank you for all the ideas. I am using a passion planner and the HB90 calendar as well as others for journaling.
This is another great video. You have chosen so many cute planners. This year for the first time I am going completely digital with my planning. But since I am still a paper lover, I am still using paper journals for my journaling. Does your HB90 planner come in digital form because I would love to use that to plan out my writing projects.
There is a digital version in the works but my collaborator fell ill over the holidays and if been delayed. Fingers crossed it will be finished soon!!

Great video! Can’t wait to see updates throughout the year. The cloth and paper seems so pretty! I am using a makselife and a bullet journal/ travelers note book.
If you haven't already, you might want to mention the lack of codes and missing packages to the post office as well - they were right on it when I had to report a package missing that wasn't where it was it should have been at my apartment complex (fortunately it turned out to be misplaced, not stolen).

Some things have switched around since I moved into a permanent home and my needs changed a bit. I didn't end up really keeping up with the Hobonichi weeks or the A6 planners. I've got a new B6 stalogy that I've used for my 6months4life projects and I've used an hourly and then an EC compact vertical for my social media. But I think everything else, I've kept up with as explained! Excited to go through my 2023 planners, because I've got a few changes and simplifications coming.
@@HeartBreathings i like to look for inspirations, tbh i have no clue as to what I will use for 2023, i already bought 2 planners that i really like, but still not sure how im gonna use them. In 2022 I abandoned every planner i bought...its been really hard to find something i can keep up and enjoy. I was remembering ur notebook challenge, and doing the math if I use one notebook a month it would take me 12 years to finish them all...T.T

your CP you have to learn how to lay flat. put a fat heavy book on your left side and let it stay there for hours. I just did with my Filofax malden Personal, and now it opens flat. Oh i love those black rings htere. Enjoy your planners. I am in a BIG HP, an A5 CarpeDiem and my Malden at the moment.

Why does anyone need to have so many planners? If you cannot control your life in 1 maybe 2 (work vs home), then you're not as organized as you think you are and you need to focus on that instead of spending so much time plotting planners.

I am a social media manager by trade and found Later to be the best social media digital scheduler for posting to multiple platforms! With a free account you can still schedule to multiple profiles (multiple instagrams, facebooks, etc.) so you can get a feel for the layout before you invest.
