I recommend that you use greatsword for your Shikai weapon but only use the base katana for the guard breaking cuz the greatsword moves aren’t fast. Then just guard break ,speed skill then dash away and repeat

I know it sounds weird but don't use your shikai. I don't know how the times exactly with each weapon, but longsword for instance has a critical cool down of ~8 seconds, while the regular zanpakuto only has about 4 seconds of cool down.

M1s have no stun, it's a parry based combat type of game.

Against npcs, m1s are pretty useless. For whatever reason, the npcs in this game are ridiculously good at parrying, to the point where it's pointless to try and hit them with m1s and instead rely on them being bad at parrying criticals, which breaks their guard, hitting a cooldown move, and then running away. This is especially the case for blood bankai, as when you parry with it active, then enemy is instantly ragdolled.

look at the ground and spam specter step if youre speed, dont actually use it on him. if you spam it without actually using it it makes the boss tweak out and not flashstep, kinda walks towards you wastes moves and spams block.
