I feel like the girls forget that Melinda's partner had a medical incidence right before she came to Drag Race. I think they need to give her a bit of grace with how shot her nerves must be week after week.
I think just like Kitten did when she saved Girlfriend, she is being supportive of the queen who needed it the most? Also since she can actually create a garment, she can appreciate that what Melinda did needed much more skill and effort than what the other two did. And she tried to save Aimee from herself by telling her to go for the other fabric.
In the preview of the next episode of Canada Brook is not stopping the lip sync,by the music that was playing it was actually in the end of the episode after the elimination when the girls are on stage dancing before the episode ends so is probably something unexpected

was waiting for this video to be able to comment how much I looked forward to CDR4 (Canada was my preferred franchise for the last few years, iunno why) and how friggin much it was worth the wait! Last episode was hands down the best in CDR history, haven't been this excited to see what's next in a looong time
all drama aside (and i am living for my hometown girl melinda), i am so glad someone else pointed out how rough aurora's dress was ! i was gagged when she was safe and nearah was in the bottom.
My wife and I also thought Melinda was going to be in the top when she was called. However, we missed the original garment in the work room and once they showed it we understood. I love Melinda and really hope that being saved gives her some motivation and belief in herself.
We all did. I do have suspicions as Kiki, Melinda and Aimee are right. I thought safe at least. The jacket was really well constructed, it had a different hem, lining but the details were small.
I love Aimie and I don't really connect with Nearah, but Aimie lost that lip sync. She didn't know the words and did a lot of mush mouthing. I am glad that she stayed though because I enjoy Aimie a lot. And, I'm so happy for Priyanka getting her song featured. There are definitely more deserving double saves, imo. I would definitely have double saved Lady BoomBoom and Kitty over this, I rewatched recently and those two are just fantastic. You also forget the S1 drama of Jimbo versus Rita (I still cackle remembering it) and Ilona versus, well, herself
I understand this is a reality show but I am still surprised people think drama is more important than great performances. So far, I can't say any of these episodes has served great performances. By this time in S2 we had an amazing Design challenge, Under the Big Top and Eve6000 in Screech.
i’m so happy i wasn’t the only one that noticed how Venus got a spotlight for the first half of the episode. really made me love her more but it did kinda feel like the winner edit considering she was just safe.
It's incredible how well Nearah and Aimee's garments held up in the lip sync given these are design challenge outfits. And the fact Nearah's glasses stayed in place the entire time during the lip sync 🙌 Another reason to justify the double shantay.
I was hanging out with Kiki, Aimee Melinda (and Kimmy Couture) that night. Melinda came out before the episode aired and apologized, we didn’t really know what for but it turns out she was embarrassed in how she acted. After the episode aired, she mentioned that she has been dreading this episode for months and cried. We cheered her though, as it was great tv. Side note Melinda is the sweetest. Brooklyn did rip into her really hard as well, which wasn’t aired Aimee wasn’t in drag, it’s her home bar, but she left during her trauma mirror scene. She spoke a bit about it after, and I really have a respect for her as well.
From the music I heard during Brooke's "Cut the music" in the preview, and the way Tracy was dancing, it seemed more like it happens during the dancing off the stage at the end of the episode and not during the lipsync.
Im happy we can agree on the fact that Italia's dance episode was awesome, especially since dance challanges are so rare and everyone was so good! What gagged me is that next week theres gonna be a SINGING challange since its titled "Dragremo" (taken from "Sanremo" which is a singing event here), but yeah i was like okaaay not our season giving the varietyyy Which is also funny cause here we are with dance and singing challanges but we've never had a ball 💀💀

Heather's won the past two Canadians Screen Awards for Non-Fiction Casting and is a safe best to take home a third in a row just based on this episode alone.
This is a new era of drag where we need to give people their flowers for bringing us great TV instead of the tired cycle of sending hate...only to years later proudly proclaim how much we appreciate a queen. Let's give Melinda the flowers she deserves now, not 3 years from now. Especially given the fact Melinda's partner had a mini-stroke (I believe) right before she left to compete. That's a clear reason why Melinda may be feeling "less motivated".
As a Canadian, the deadpan "well I'll be dammed" pun every episode is hilarious to me and it's so smart. The Golden Beaver is a positive symbol (it kinda has to be given it's our national animal) to save someone. It "blocks" Brooke Lynn's ability to send 1 of the Bottom 3 home, just like a beaver dam creates a barrier that protects the beaver's habitat from predators and turbulent water!
One thing about Brooke saying “cut the music” it seems to be after the elimination as the music playing is the “play the music” track so I think someone loses it after the elimination 🤭🤭
I always watch your show and it keeps so much company, the both of you are stunning and so funny ❤ It’s weird to see you guy recap on Italy, cause I know we have a pretty different mood then all the other franchises, but I think for the first time this third season they took and applied some critiques from the last two, which make it exiting to think that maybe for a fourth season it could actually start to feel more like real part of the franchise! I respectfully disagree. Naughty Nuff was awful the whole episode. Her look was not the worst but she definitely was bottom worthy. Especially since I can’t believe she is still here. Probably my least favorite contestant this season. Also when she won the photo challenge it was clear they were going to bottom place her (they love doing it). I also still maintain that the same old tired stunts that she used don’t out do what Aimee did, which is serve face and energy. Splits can’t be all that matters 🙄
