haven't done this at Starbucks but I have listened to this a lot in college when studying for a math exam. I can only remember that I was studying Euler diagrams and paths, graph theory, sets, fuzzy logic, quantitative logic, and reasoning, etc, etc.
I love how this track Litterally gets happier as it goes on meaning Hoe yiu get used to math : In high school when yiu first see calculus You freak out just like the song in the first minute. After that It starts to sound More jazzy on the second minute and it's followed by Extremely peaceful sounds Aswell as Machines are functoning and this gets more and more apearent as the song goes on, Just like how your brain starts to get used to Math after a while. Then at 4:10 you get a break and do whatever. Then You get into the next year and your brain starts hurting again, But you get used to it again with some problems in areas.
Having been with vaporwave since it's inception, this is still one of the songs I always come back to. It's such a beautiful piece of plunderphonics and gives me mad OPN vibes. It's a shame everybody listens to リサフランク420 / 現代のコンピュー and chalks the genre up as some joke. Vaporwave really has some beautiful songs if you look deep enough.
I got into the genre around 2016. I was in the 7th grade. I'm a senior in high school now, and it's really a shame that more of my peers aren't into vaporwave. The genre is most definitely not a joke and tracks like these, and artists like Mac and Infinity Frequencies (just to shout out a lesser known name) capitvate me and take me to a legendary place. When I'm listening to Mathematics, I feel like I am actually at that weird, abandoned but still somehow lively mall. Vaporwave is an adventure waiting to happen and those that don't listen to it are really missing out, in my opinion.
This track is like a beautiful fever dream, the way the layers climb over each other to get your attention as the whole composition gets more complex and beautiful. At first you only hear mechanical noises but the more you listen the more "organic" the song becomes, and it's like a staircase ascending towards the light climbing out of the convoluted rubble of a dream. It's a bit disorienting but gorgeous nonetheless.
Love it. Got an alien earth factory sound to it. Wow!! To very out of control by natural events trying to stay a floai. Yes is greatest one on this album!!!!

My Brain when I am trying to process mathematical equations.
So relateable
same as you
Same.
I GET IT IT. THE SONG IS CALLED ''Mathematics''.
Is this supposed to be a positive mood or a negative mood because I’m sensing good vibes
It seems to literally be called "Mathematics"
This makes so much more sense now
Thinking about this track again
All the time
Great music for descending a long, poorly lit and empty stairwell.
scp-087
one of the best on the album
Y'all haven't really lived until you listen to this at Starbucks with headphones while doing a timed quiz online
It's a vibe
In 6 years or so i want to do this

@@MrGameAndChill my truest inner peace I've ever felt was listening to this in the college library overlooking a fountain outside

This one is just mesmerizing. This whole album is special.
To be fair this is kind of where i go in Algebra 1, reading an alien language, no real idea what I'm doing but it makes just enough sense

This song is a beauty. Love the atmosphere
When the dissociatives, delirants and benzodiazepines hit at the same time.
Listening to this song for the first time is like making a friend with someone who made a bad first impression

I can't be the only one that thinks this has samples from Human Behavior by Bjork. Listen to them side by side back to back etc
it samples a track by dancing fantasy which uses the same preset synth pattern as bjork did (i think the preset is called pharaoh's jig?)
@@slowbicyclexx Good ear
Reminds me of LSD Dream Emulator...
Ebony, I think I actually saw you in the comments on the playlist of the LSD Dream Emulator OST
Fr tho
When youre fighting your way through dwemer ruins but youre a bard

Sounds like there's a sample in there from Björk - Human behaviour.
This sounds like lowercase music
Like Sounds Eternal Champions ~ Sega CD OST - Dawson's Stage

Fredrik Amundsen Eidet sounds like a thriller scene and has a relaxing tune as well
Soundtrack for the five and a half minute hallway
The track is great
Oneohtrix Point Never vibes
Reminds me of some of the tracks from Cowboy Bebop
What is the sampled song?
I think the sax is vektroids doing
Worldwide by dancing fantasy
I thought this was a creepy song at the beginning
Muzak 2 improperly charge yurr phon 2.mp7

Sounds like a Space Station in No Man's Sky song
Reminds me of the end in Minecraft, if it were more peaceful.
