I think next year you should launch your Halloween stuff for the end of August/start of September. I start decorating for the spooky season as soon as September hits. I probably wouldn’t buy things into October as I know I’d only get a few weeks out of them

Fellow shop owner here❤ you will definitely need to launch way more ahead of time. For seasonal products you usually launch 3-4 months before the actual season. Most halloween related products sell in august + september so you would want to have your products up ideally end of july/early august. In october people start to purchase things for christmas. You miss out on huge sales if you do not adjust your launch timing❤
All the products are adorable! You were right when you said, something like, “Live and learn!” And it’s only the first few days of October, so, everything is fine. Breathe!! Take care!

I'm sure you don't need comments from some rando without a small business, but I just feel like you do too many launches too frequently. For me it would make sense to have maybe 4 big launches that you hype up and do a lot of marketing for in advance. I just think it gets hard for people to buy so often. Either way I hope you feel better and keep going 😊
The large mouse mats make sense really, especially if people are gaming or use them to cushion their desks/wrists. Smaller ones tend to be fairly annoying if you have a mouse with a lower dpi. Also most of the aesthetic desktop setups usually feature an extra large long desk mat since people are at least using a smaller 60%-75% keyboard and mouse, I wouldnt be surprised if that's why they sold so well.
All of your products looked really good. I bought one of your bumblebutt jumpers and I can say very good quality, nice fit and soft. I must say you look absoultely adorable without makeup on. Thank you for always showing the good and the not so good side of being a small business owner.
P.S. I have probably said this a million times in the comments and on every video but i look forward to these so much bc you are such a true inspiration and so very real! It makes you so relatable and allows people to see the normal side of things with business. Not everything or everyone is perfect so its a perfect reminder not everything is all rainbows! I make my own notepads right now but I think I would prefer to have them made to give myself more time to just create designs! If you cant share I completely 100% understand!!! It feels like so much product to have launched in one go, but on the other hand you also now have lots more products that are beautiful and well done, feels like you are moving in even more magical directions. Just saw an image in my minds eye of a huge bumblebutt squishy comfort cushion and a flower one too. I do get the feeling some of your clothes shall also be made for small children - imagine a bumblebutt comfy pj's and dressing gown. Honestly the options are endless.

That said, generally speaking, I usually do not purchase character goods and tend to like more neutral colours. Thinking about solutions, perhaps you could target online and physical shops that match your target audience and give Halloween vibes, to have them sell your items as well and boost your revenue? Rooting for you either way.🧡

Both my best friends just had babies and i think printing on baby outfits and childrens clothes would work so well with bumblebutt etc, because i'm an adult and i watch your channel religiously but i am spending my money on my best friends babies. Millenials are definitely shifting into parenthood now, and omg bumble butt baby range would be so hecking cute
My sisters an optometrist and she suggests putting Vaseline on your actual eye ball. Close eyes and look around so it coats whole eye. Really helps with dryness

I mainly get updates through the vlogs so take what I say with a pinch of salt but I was surprised when you mentioned there being so many products because my impression was that this was quite a small product launch. I know you’ve mentioned the apparel tests previously but perhaps they weren’t shown enough as some of the designs in the shop I don’t remember being talked about? I also don’t think there’s been quite the same amount of build up. I can see that it’s been two months since the last launch videos yet it feels like this one kind of snuck up on us a bit? Maybe because you were vlogging about other things as well maybe, I’m not sure? Anyway everything looks great. I particularly like the little spider character. ❤
I'm so sad you felt like this launch was a fail! Mistakes happen, it's ok. Also, I didn't know when the launch was coming until it just appeared, so maybe more advertising of launch days beforehand would help? (Im also a patreon and didnt see a datr listed there either) I did order a bunch a few days after the launch because i love halloween so much. But i had to be careful with my spending haha. I wanted a mousepad so bad, but money is tight, and i couldn't justify getting another mousepad right now. But im sure i will order it later in the year. You are such an inspiration for me and my small business! Don't be too hard on yourself over mistakes, so many businesses have errors occur, both big and small. Keep on creating ❤

Heya! You mention that you have switched from Lightroom to Photoshop for photo editing because it is easier. Curious mind wants to know why. It would be great if you talked about that some time.
Just an idea. To save money when you sublimate would it not be worth doing 4up on one single mouse mat with the various tones, then you don't have to waste so many mouse mats getting it right?
I think the problem is she doesn’t see the initial difference till she prints one out, maybe for the second she could try to print different adjustments on the same, but then different colours in different parts of the illustrations might make it messy (like for example the black on this ones)…
I have one of these but it’s still always chaos lol 😂❤ to be fair it was mainly technical issues on the site (like things not being selected correctly I. The sales channel) and our apparel! 😅 we got there in the end phewphhh 😅
For the color print match, are you able to view some sort of color-print-profile preview in photoshop? I am able to do so in Clip Studio Paint, so I'm assuming PS also has it. Should be able to make a profile to be able to preview what the colors are going to be before printing. Might still take trial and error to get the profile right, but then will be able to use it in the future more easily.
I wouldn't say it's a failed launch since there are still plenty of people who only get into Halloween close to the actual date, but I'm in the middle of the decorating spectrum. I'm not so trapped by capitalism that I decorate months before a Holiday, but I like to dedicate the month of to it at least to feel like it's worth decorating. Whatever I have out on Oct. 1 is all I'm going to keep out for the spooky season as I am that person who waits til after to snatch up leftovers on huge discounts for the next year. November will switch to fall/harvest theme, December is Christmas, etc. You just need to find that sweet spot that resonates with majority of your customer base! As for the website issues, that's technology for ya. It'll never be perfect and I'm sure anyone waiting on the apparel understood.
I admit I need to get on the ball with launching things so much sooner than what I have! I still am working on my halloween launch.... oopsies... (insert cringe face) Ive had so many things get in my way, working another job and my health has been terrible... along with having 4 kids and being pulled multiple directions... so yes hot mess express here and ALWAYS late on everything LOL... but i just breathe and keep going! The items are so lovely and i am still dreaming of the day I can FINALLY buy something of yours and so many other small businesses I follow avidly!! I think Ill want so many different things Ill probably make a huge sale for you one day LOL.... Bc i need atleast one of everything LOL....
it happens don't be so hard on yourself so many small businesses are struggling money is tight for everyone they haven't got extra for goodies, and maybe the colour theme wasn't really up to your usual themes, maybe just focus on less launches in the year, watched your last few vlogs it seems you are over working and rushing a lot of things which causes problems with products when you rush, less is more and then they are more appealing and people want them, maybe limited drops would be a good option too, hugs x
Just so ur aware. Inland of the east coast of the USA just got probably one of the worst hurricanes on record because it hit a lot of places that don't typically get hurricanes. Hundreds of thousands of people are without electricity and we'll be fore weeks to months. Death toll last I checked was 136. It caused everything from flooding to massive mud slides. It's taken out power, bridges, and other infrastructure. This has probably effected the launch just based on the scale of how many life's hurrican helene effected. So cheer up.

When people say that they have still so many thing to do before a launch but they still pick the camera and record... I just wanna scream at them. I get that you are "youtubers" and blahblah but i feel like is kinda innecesary to take the time to record when you have things to do.
I agree but also understand that if you miss loading to UA-cam you mess with the algorithm and that’s not good too. It sounds like a really tough place to be when your income is coming from your business and UA-cam.

Thats when (for me) you should just focus youre time and energy to finish that and then you could talk about what happened, just like she did at The end.
@@prbcsup9955I get what you mean, while I also get the part that a good bunch of her public comes from yt, so she needs to keep recording, as she is documenting the launch, she literally talks 1 minute to the camera and then cuts to 5 hours later. I’m just answering bc as a frequent viewer, I noticed that she does that a lot when she’s busy, she doesn’t record as much, just a quick update then cuts of to a few hours later, which should not take her more than 5 minutes bc she surely has the camera set up ready. Those 5 minutes would not make a difference, taking the photos a few days earlier would 😅
I few years ago I went to Mexico and wanted to do as the locals and add a bit of cayenne pepper to my food.......the whole cover came off and I got a pile of cayenne pepper in my food. I just sat there eating my food that tasted like pure fire bc I was too embarrassed to get up and ask for a new plate. 🥲🥲🥲

I'm sorry your launch didn't go well. It's been so hard as a small business these past few months. I was consistently getting multiple orders day after day this time last year. I'm currently on 2 weeks without a single order 🙃

Heya! You mention that you have switched from Lightroom to Photoshop for photo editing because it is easier. Curious mind wants to know why. It would be great if you talked about that some time.
Just an idea. To save money when you sublimate would it not be worth doing 4up on one single mouse mat with the various tones, then you don't have to waste so many mouse mats getting it right?
I think the problem is she doesn’t see the initial difference till she prints one out, maybe for the second she could try to print different adjustments on the same, but then different colours in different parts of the illustrations might make it messy (like for example the black on this ones)…

For the color print match, are you able to view some sort of color-print-profile preview in photoshop? I am able to do so in Clip Studio Paint, so I'm assuming PS also has it. Should be able to make a profile to be able to preview what the colors are going to be before printing. Might still take trial and error to get the profile right, but then will be able to use it in the future more easily.

I wouldn't say it's a failed launch since there are still plenty of people who only get into Halloween close to the actual date, but I'm in the middle of the decorating spectrum. I'm not so trapped by capitalism that I decorate months before a Holiday, but I like to dedicate the month of to it at least to feel like it's worth decorating. Whatever I have out on Oct. 1 is all I'm going to keep out for the spooky season as I am that person who waits til after to snatch up leftovers on huge discounts for the next year. November will switch to fall/harvest theme, December is Christmas, etc. You just need to find that sweet spot that resonates with majority of your customer base!
As for the website issues, that's technology for ya. It'll never be perfect and I'm sure anyone waiting on the apparel understood.

I admit I need to get on the ball with launching things so much sooner than what I have! I still am working on my halloween launch.... oopsies... (insert cringe face) Ive had so many things get in my way, working another job and my health has been terrible... along with having 4 kids and being pulled multiple directions... so yes hot mess express here and ALWAYS late on everything LOL... but i just breathe and keep going! The items are so lovely and i am still dreaming of the day I can FINALLY buy something of yours and so many other small businesses I follow avidly!! I think Ill want so many different things Ill probably make a huge sale for you one day LOL.... Bc i need atleast one of everything LOL....
it happens don't be so hard on yourself so many small businesses are struggling money is tight for everyone they haven't got extra for goodies, and maybe the colour theme wasn't really up to your usual themes, maybe just focus on less launches in the year, watched your last few vlogs it seems you are over working and rushing a lot of things which causes problems with products when you rush, less is more and then they are more appealing and people want them, maybe limited drops would be a good option too, hugs x

Just so ur aware. Inland of the east coast of the USA just got probably one of the worst hurricanes on record because it hit a lot of places that don't typically get hurricanes. Hundreds of thousands of people are without electricity and we'll be fore weeks to months. Death toll last I checked was 136. It caused everything from flooding to massive mud slides. It's taken out power, bridges, and other infrastructure. This has probably effected the launch just based on the scale of how many life's hurrican helene effected. So cheer up.

When people say that they have still so many thing to do before a launch but they still pick the camera and record... I just wanna scream at them. I get that you are "youtubers" and blahblah but i feel like is kinda innecesary to take the time to record when you have things to do.
I agree but also understand that if you miss loading to UA-cam you mess with the algorithm and that’s not good too. It sounds like a really tough place to be when your income is coming from your business and UA-cam.
@@01poppyblue i wasn't talking about the whole video, just when she says that she has like 6 hours until the launch and still hasnt edited all the photos. Thats when (for me) you should just focus youre time and energy to finish that and then you could talk about what happened, just like she did at The end.
@@prbcsup9955I get what you mean, while I also get the part that a good bunch of her public comes from yt, so she needs to keep recording, as she is documenting the launch, she literally talks 1 minute to the camera and then cuts to 5 hours later. I’m just answering bc as a frequent viewer, I noticed that she does that a lot when she’s busy, she doesn’t record as much, just a quick update then cuts of to a few hours later, which should not take her more than 5 minutes bc she surely has the camera set up ready. Those 5 minutes would not make a difference, taking the photos a few days earlier would 😅

I few years ago I went to Mexico and wanted to do as the locals and add a bit of cayenne pepper to my food.......the whole cover came off and I got a pile of cayenne pepper in my food.
