I have been wanting to start recording my flights, but I always thought I needed a good camera. To see you using an iPhone made me realize I've been holding myself back! I can't wait until everything (Coronavirus) slows down so I can begin flying again.
The camera tech in phones these days is truly amazing. I always tell people, I didn't spend $1,400 on a phone. I spent $1,400 on a camera that also happens to make phone calls.
@@j.p.1214no, I don’t. 95% of the time I hold the camera by hand. Even on long flights. This keeps the engine and wind vibrations from warping through footage.
Great sunset capture. Interesting approach there, they passed overhead the localizer for RWY 30 then consecutive right turns to re-intercept. Looked on Flightaware, I think they flew the "PIRAT TWO" arrival. Keep up the good work, enjoy your productions.
I'm glad you enjoy them my friend. I have several cameras that I travel with, but I primarily use the iPhone 11 Pro. People say, "you spent $1,600 on a phone?" And I reply, "no, I spent $1,600 on an amazingly good camera, that also happens to make phone calls." The camera tech in the Pro line of iPhones is outstanding.
16:49 just love that fire looking sunset such a beautiful view
This will likely be my favorite approach for quite some time. It'll be hard to beat, that's for sure. Thanks for watching man!
I like the parts when the plane goes through the clouds.😁
Same
Not me 😶. It's feel like the plane can get a problem or trouble with the engine😅
Davis Gamer777 the best part of flying is flying IFR 😂 in IMC
Cloud surfing at it's finest!

@@sla31 do you mount it to something? how do you keep it so stable?

@@sla31 I've done that before and either my hand starts to cramp or some movement shows through the video. Kudos to your steady hand.

Great Video👍👍
Glad you enjoyed it!
Good stuff.
I love watching skylight videos based entirely on good quality picture and realistic engine sounds. What equipment do you use?
