As a Yeti Chomper user, I’ve found that he’s very good at eating zombies. His Arctic Belch is capable of slowing down or even straight up freezing them in place, with the additional bonus of disabling their abilities. It acts like the goop, but you have this alongside the goop, giving you a lot of versatility. This additional goop effect not only makes Chomper easier to one-hit vanquish the zombies, but also adds utility to a Plant push, allowing for easy pickings for your teammates. His ranged attack is one of the only ranged attacks that don’t have a cooldown or any sort of reloading mechanic. Play well and you can dish out tons of damage without a stop. Another thing too is that Yeti Chomper is the only Chomper that can stand a chance against the Imp’s Gravity Bomb, due to the additional range that they have.
A goofy thing I do is playing as Yeti Chomper is freeze someone then use chomp canon and watch them go flying because chomp canon is the most fun abillity in my opinion that isn't goop
What you didn’t mention with the sprint burrow is that it actually only has one bite per burrow, due to a really odd coding problem, once you use the first burrow bite, you have to wait a impossible amount of time.
oh god you're right, on pc too, after the first time you eat a zombie from below, you just can't eat a zombie from below until you respawn or supposedly wait ages i assume... this game has so many obscure and completely terrible coding failures lmao i think i got a second one to work in multiplayer, i waited about 4 minutes, very cursed
It's actually pretty amusing at how messy of a class chomper is. With the amount of glitches and BS you can pull off. Something that really annoys me, though, is the fact that power chomper's hit detection is...not great. Also, count chompula should've been able to heal a small amount of health when using his normal primary. The swallowing healing can stay the way it is.
I prefer using chomper like spy from tf2 Using Speedy burrow as a cloak to get behind lines for back chomps I feel like lots of these chompers are just clones of tf2 knifes Vampire chomper being the kunai a weapon that steals enemys heath on backstab Hotrod being the big earner giving a speed boost on backstab Also my favourite chomper is Most likely stock chomper With Goop Speedy burrow Spikeweed
What I love the most about the Yeti Chomper is that I can just be a mortar and fire from behind a wall sometimes and still hit people Quite the devilishly fun thing to do 😈
Sticky goop does not last longer than normal goop. Sprint burrow feels jank for swallowing because you can only swallow with it the first time you go under a player and the indicator pops up. If you miss that first window to swallow, you won't be able to swallow that player at all, for some reason.
burrow attack has a cooldown, and, for some reason, sprint burrow has such a long one, it takes more time to recharge than the time you have underground. some people said its so long that you will probably die before it recharges, but I don’t know about that
On the elemental effects note, I have noticed that the ice effect will still slow down your burrow. This means an ice elemental character can still ruin a chomper that's trying to use burrow as a last ditch attempt to escape or attack.
I love your vids bro, but try re recording some of your lines, you stutter or stumble on your words every now and then, not a big issue but it would definitely make for a better viewing experience. Love ya dude
@@dedicated_plant024 BFN’s rework of Chomper is just horrible. Taking away the identity of the character is so beyond asinine and thoughtless. Chomper has always been a melee instant kill class, that takes time to digest….. it EVERY PVZ game. PvZ gw2 nailed his unique playstyle
To make burrow more balanced here's how it should work: you take 50% less damage underground because of chomper's thorns seen in the ability (This will only happen if the chomper has the burrow particles) this is much more balanced than making them invulnerable
Oh yea as if you could shoot bullets through the ground like its nothing, especially when soldiers bullets cant penetrate anything other than plants because his gun is just similar to a paintball gun
I wish spike weed would lift zombies like in the first game. It added so much personality.

I may be wrong, but I think besides Gravity Pull, regular stomp can also put any chomper out of the burrow.
Gravity grenade cannot unburrow chompers for some weird reason

Burrow is balanced. Loud, limited range, has a ton of abilities to escape it before it connects.
