What a blessed way of life. You and your family are living my dream.
Kind of forget what you are building, what an adorable child!
I see a play house on the agenda ☺ she's a beautiful child....so good seeing you wearing safety gear. 👍
Not gonna lie, my palms were sweaty watching you working on the roof! I know I've said this before, but what a beautiful family you have. And your sweet baby girl is just amazing! How happy you all are together. Many blessings.
Thanks for the video…remarkable job on the cabin …stay safe and take care !!
I watched you guys for a long time - mostly your wife. You hid your talent. I’m super impressed with your concept, execution and skill. Now I watch you both. 👍🏻
Nice job on the roofing paper. Hopefully you'll be able to install the metal before winter. Enjoy your young family, it is just a fleeting moment in the passing of time. Thank you for sharing with us.
Excellent you are building a really nice cabin and taking the time to make sure you build it properly and correct any mistakes.
She's growing up fast - absolutely adorable!!!! Oh and the cabin is looking great as well - lol - God bless and take care.
Sweet nose to nose and mom caught it! Worth the dizzying days of roofing, and showed me a tool I've needed for ages but didn't know existed, the hammer tacker!
Know nothing about woodworking and you gave me a vertigo, but this is so genuine what you're sharing on your channel. Kudos to Peter McK for featuring you in his video, that's how I found you. Great work, lovely family. Cheers!
continue to do ur fav work, really love ur videous
You should make some kitchen utensils and sell them when or if you get time
your daughter and fam are the cutest! love to see it and love the family interludes! big love as always
Me thinks little munchkin has your energy. Loved her giggles with Mom while catching air . You two cook up some tempting cuisine . I can't imagine the undoing of this cabin build .....
Beautiful work guys!
Very good job on that roof. The cabin is really coming together
It is common to cover the rafters ,to protect them from any weather
I love kids at that age. I am 53 years old with 5 kids. But 4 of my 5 kids are in there 20's now. and 5th child is a teenager.
lovely family and the cabin is looking great!!! you have to be so excited!!!!
Great job👌, so nice to see you all well in these beautiful sorroundings. All the best from 🇦🇹 🤠👍
Well now...there's a cowboy coffee pot if I ever seen one. lol
Amazing workmanship! Lots of blood and sweat in those logs. Love it. What hat are you wearing? Keep it up. No one said it's going to be easy.
good job on the roof, it all takes time so just be careful as no point killing your self dude , i bet the family loving it being there with you & that is all is all that matters sir :) , good job at lighting the fire , hope you have a lovely new week sir
More staples equals more places to leak!
The only episode in the whole series when you showed us your hair 😂 while making smoke after the family arrived
Absolutely gorgeous 🥳🥳🥳
Incredible how that hammering echoes through the woods. In Hawkesbury area. Would love to move in your area one day. Not sure where, but I know it must be northern Ontario. Was thinking North Bay area.
Add a slap hammer staple to the overlap
Great job, very nice family, I m french and live in France ,but on 2006and 2007 ,two Québec trips , Harricana lodge, and 2008 ,Nova Scotia trip, I love the Canada , I wait one thing, to return on Canada trip😊. My english isn't very good, but I learn ,alone. What your province, just by curiosité. God bless.
God bless you right.
The last roofing I did was on a 4/12 shed roof, frost covered in January. Kudos...
I give you an A for effort...but...You should have a 1x2 drip edge around the perimeter and the flashing should start at the bottom, on top of the paper, V-notched and bent around the corners. Always bend flashing around the corners, never square cut.
Drip on the lowe portion should've gone on top of the felt right? Then metal will go on top of flashing?
What a slab of moose steak!!! Where's the mushrooms?
she is so cute. where are the months going. great job on the cabin
I'm obsessed with your cabin build series! Inspiring work! Was just curious about how you plan to take the roof apart in the future when you decide to move the cabin to it's final resting place? Seems pretty tedious with all necessary layers. Or does each side of the roof get transported as units?
Please expect some water from the cold metal roofing
You doing pretty good I will see this and hopefully you Will read this I can see it in your video nowhere
I didn’t see you put the drip guard up at the top that’s all well I’m fine and a good idea but when you’re doing the type of roof that you’re doing you should’ve let you drippage beer cap off for the top
👍👍❤️
This kid is growing up too fast. Vid 31 she'll be hammering some stuff with nails haha.
Will you be putting some gutters to fill in a water container (for a garden, for shower or washing dishes) ? Or will you be waiting to dismantle the cabin first for the small details ? Cheers.
Right now I’m just catching run off with 5gal 🪣 not sure yet. I need the water for putting out fires.
Im wondering if its coffee grounds tha he is useing to darken yhe lettering.
Baby needs a highchair 💜
good job! What are you going to use for shingles? I miss hearing my kids giggle when they were babies. Now they are in their 20's.
i have ben away..so do you know were your going to move the house too.
Make sure someone doesn't SLIP you a ROOFee...
When you put tarpaper on a roof, you start from the bottom and work your way up
What a healthy childhood for a little one to grow up in
