Honestly a fantastic video. Great to see someone else pilot the deck at a high level.
thank you :')
What a fantastic video!
Thank you a lot for putting this together!
thanks for watching--glad you liked it!
Thank you, best video Tutorial, I want to try this Archetype because I love the artwork.
thanks so much! if you play the archetype on Master Duel, the Weather Painter Rainbow has a really beautiful animation when you summon her. :) If you check out my weather painter streams on my channel, you'll see what i mean!
Thought I knew everything but that sunny canvas play seems funny to pull off lol
Amazing video, very detailed!
thanks for watching!
Trying to pick up the deck and this is the best guide I've seen yet. More weather content please!
thank you! and i definitely will!
@@DewyTheDuelist What do you think of Necrovalley in the deck? With tear being the big format threat that seems like a good option considering the monsters all play about in the banished pile.
@@cutecombo8496 honestly i've been playing around with 1 necrovalley, 1 zombie world, and 1 mine; necrovalley and zombie world have the benefit of being able to be activated turn 1 (without having to mine yourself); you can use the set rotation trick to grab them, too, or run metaverse/demise of the land to surprise your opponent
@@DewyTheDuelist Damn I like that a lot actually good idea. Thoughts on small world Vs piri reis map as snow copies 4/5/6? Piri isn't a -1 but also losing 4k LP in a format that generally goes to time kinda hurts.
@@cutecombo8496 my philosophy is always that i'd rather have too much engine than brick, and piri/snow are 1 card starters; with the right hand traps/techs (dogwood, nib, floodgates) you should survive to t3
There is something amazing about this archetype that keeps clinging to me.
Am a master duel player and even if i have very fun decks like vernus/admancipators, NOH PUNK (full engine) with dogmatika (winda) + maximus as a 8 star ( it works beautifully) and Tears etc etc.
Even though all that i want to learn all possible in and outs of weathers !
good luck on your weather painter journey! it can be challenging to master but it’s really rewarding :)
Actually a very good video. Nice job and thank you for sharing love for this deck.
thanks for watching!
A spectacular video!
thanks for watching :)
excellent video!
thanks for watching!
I play Weather since a lot of time but some techs like Gryphon or the Cloudy Canvas to play under mine are very nice! Thank you for the nice ideas, although I like to slow down the pace of the game with a couple of more floodgates! (To trigger Cloud I put a Clara and Rushka in the Extra Deck in extreme cases but now I have more options to think, thanks!)
Clara and Rushka is a good idea! my issue when i was running her was that i'd often have a bunch of special summoned painters but no normal summoned ones :(
Tbh I think in the current format, I’d remove 1 sun 3 mine and 3 ghost sister and spooky dogwood and replace them with a third thunder, 3 anti spell fragrance and 3 Dimensional Fissure. For the side, I’d include 3 torrential 3 skill drain 2 dimensional barrier and 1 grave of the super ancient organism. Also, I like to run aurora as you can summon her off of rainbowed when your opponent uses feather duster. She allows you to protect your canvases, and her normal summon effect comes up sometimes. Besides that, I’d say this list is a pretty good jumping off point for anyone wanting to try out the deck.
yeah the new meta definitely calls for a different list! (esp since mine is banned)
the problem with aurora vs feather duster is that usually your opponent is smart enough not to put a monster on board before activating duster :/
i also get nervous about putting more backrow in post-siding, since it will have a big target on it (but things like d-barrier and artifact sanctum are fine, since you can just chain)
Updated weather painers guide in MD please
i wish there was anything to update 😢
i think your best bet is filling non-engine slots with handtraps/floodgates that respond to the meta wherever you are on the ladder
I've been playing Weather Painters for so long and Idk there are lot of ways to play this deck HAHAHAHA.
The field spell was an amazing addition to weathers but they’re still missing something that allows them to search faster. Thanks for sharing
i don't think their problem is searching so much as it is staying alive
It’s weird they don’t have a floodgate of their own. Not sure if necessary but yeah they need something to survive pass turn 2
Weather painters need a way to at least establish a board. Easy cards like Fenrir and Albion kind of make it impossible to establish.
i'm waiting for the red painter that special summons itself as a quick effect!
will you do a updated video or deck list for current format after ban list. would love to see what the deck looks like now if possible
working on one now! :)
You got a sub out of me
aww thank you!
What an amazing vidéo, whats this game btw ?
thanks so much! if you're asking about the simulator i'm using, it's been known by a few names (YGOpro, EDOpro, Project Ignis): projectignis.github.io/download.html
Can you do your best for a competitive gravekeeper build?
now that's an interesting idea... i'll look into it!
