A nice setup. I’m wondering if you considered having the back of the unit at the window like half inch with a slight lean so that no drain is needed and no exhaust fan? I’m considering building something like what you did with those adjustments but wondering if there’s something I didn’t think of that may be a problem. Interested in hearing your thoughts.
I didn’t notice a huge change from it being out the window to the way it is set up now.. sorry I work 3 jobs and I berely post on here so my apologies for the late message.
Hard to follow but eh if it works it works There’s a pan of water that fills up and splashed on the hot coil, you might have an issue when that fills up with the splashing. If you drill a hole in the bottom of the unit it will drain from 1 hole(watch where you poke in there, coils and all) but it’ll be less efficient then
Top and sides of ac unit are air IN and then back of Ac is out. For compressor. From of AC unit sucks hot air in and then blows it out cold after the heat exchange with the compressor
The back of the unit gets hot and creates hot air.. so it’s not 50/50 honestly my man works pretty efficiently and the maintenance m Loved working in my unit too because I had ac before they turned the central air on for the building😂
THE N64 IN THE BACKGROUND LETS GO

Bro looks good but ur Ac is blowing 50% cooled air out. Sides of Ac need to be sealed out
