Trentonin is a prescription retinoid so it makes sense that your skin would be more sensitive to it! Its definitely that

I use the same cream and I was told by my dermatologist that you should only apply the cream twice a week. It makes your skin extremely sensitive especially to the sun. 😓

You should try using the CeraVe moisturizing cream on nights when you don’t use the prescribed face cream! My skin is super sensitive too and it really helps!💗
yep! came here to say this. sometimes i do every other night with my retional as well to help with that. suncreen in the AM. Elta MD UV Clear is a god sent.
I have super sensitive skin too and have used that cream before! My skin got so red and was burning, but then I had clear skin after so I guess it's just the price we gotta pay lmao. Just apply a tiny bit and make sure you're moisturizing well :) it will get better!

tretinoin makes your skin sensitive to the sun so make sure you wear sunscreen! also you should slowly work your skin up to the cream since it is drying. i recommend using a pea size all around your face every other day then everyday

you should always wear sunscreen everyday with that topical cream! I used to use that for like over a year and was a lifegaurd one summer and literally couldnt even be outside in the sun i had to put towels all over me because if my skin was directly exposed to the sun it would burn i felt like my skin was burning off lol
Love your videos! Tretinoin is very strong so starting off slow is great. Also a pea sized amount is normally recommended . Make sure you wear a lot of sun screen everyday! ♥️

i really reccomend using the retinol clindamyacin one in combination with a really strong moisturizer. I reccomend the cera ve deep night renewal cream. I have been using that cream combo for years and it’s helped.

Okay so I am doing the same exact thing for my skin and have done it before in the past, I am no dermatologist by the way, but I recommend that you use the topical just on spot from there on out or for your whole face every other night, I also shave my face it might be that you aren't using enough serum or hydration which is why you could have scratches and increased sensitivity. I hope this helps you! Also I love your videos and love what you stand for a huge role model for me! Thanks :)
Omg I am on the exact same medications as you!! I realized when I shaved my face, or didn't use sunscreen or moisturizer before and after putting it on it caused my face to burn so much!

I use Tretinoin too along with my Spironolactone and if I use it daily it would dry my skin out and make it really sensitive and my dermatologist told me to use it ever other day and to mix it in with my moisturizer! and its made it so much less sensitive
I hope you are wearing sunscreen! My tretinoin will make my face swell without sunscreen on daily. Even if im in the house

First Aid Beauty moisturizing cream literally heals everything and can make your skin feel a whole lot better when it’s sensitive
Putting a light moisturizer on before the cream instead of applying it directly to your skin should help w sensitivity (it did for my skin) Congrats on twin flames!!

Dermaplaning your face allows your pores to open and accept more outside sebum, I would highly recommend not shaving your face to make your acne clear up! My best friend tried everything and when she stopped it was night and day
