I've had laser surgery. If you work with screens, don't over do it when you've just had it done. Use all the eye drops - they don't slow down the healing.
whatever happens, DO NOT do like ur GF's brother, he gambled a big time there. that the precious eyes we are talking about. u probably won't be able to stream for a week and next week will be for 2 hrs max maybe but keep using the drops

brother in law has had his eyes fixed by laser surgery. In few days (2-3) he was fine. But it takes him almost a month to see perfectly. But he has at least 1cm thick glasses (he can't see anything without them)

I know laser surgery is fairly safe now and people are getting both eyes done at once but it's not something I'd ever risk (my vision). It is elective surgery after all. If someone does get it done I'd follow the doctor's suggestion to the letter as RadioActive has already stated 'err of the side of caution' - it's been suggested by a doctor for a reason.
Did the LASIK surgery on vacation to Hawaii and on day 1 did the surgery and went to bed afterwards. Woke up the next day and was seeing perfectly. Just needed eye drops - and do the eye drops. Should not be pain whatsoever... Hopped on a plane from Oahu to Kuwaii and a couple days later to the Big Island. Only thing i couldn’t do in Hawaii was snorkel or swim for a week.

I would avoid major computer/TV watching for a few days. Oh and when the cut the flap before they make the bubbles to move the lens. When they flip the flap you can't see anything almost like you are blind, don't freak out, I did a bit and they had to give me more valium.

@ seeing light? I never stopped seeing light, but admittedly my vision wasn't good straight after operation. Next day after waking up was already crystal sharp. Nothing hurt during operation or after it, however the act of slicing cornea was a little uncomfortable as doctor needs to squeeze eye quite forcefully. Oh and the drops. I already spent more than 300 euros on them and still require tear drops daily.
Wait... eye surgery... did it last summer, took 2 weeks so that I could watch tv for 1h at time, then 4 weeks so that I could watch screen almost normally (without eyes going fully blurry or hurting). and took 3 months for vision to go up to 130% as hey say... also, for first half year you will take a lot of eye lubricant drops...
I got my eyes done a couple weeks back, cross linking (cousin of eye laser surgery) I was offline for about 3 4days and it wasl close to a week to heal properly enough for me to see a screen without a headache. I'm getting laser eye surgery on my right eye and it'll take a year to heal properly..sitches to fall out and heal. For my crosslinking they cut the tip of my eye open (the pain was fucking unbearable once the pain meds worse off) didn't want to look at an artificial light AT ALL!
Just unlocked the Henri and in first 4 days had 3 games with more then 265k damage. Cant wait until this monster makes it to live. What build did you have in this game Flambass?
On medical recovery it depends soly on on your body. could take months or a week. my detailer for my car had major surgery on his legs due to an accident and he was back on his feet 3 weeks after surgery the last i spoke to him he was using a cane
its neither a gun nor torpedo boat, its a very, very angry boat. it pops up 8km away, torps you which will arrive in like 20 seconds and while you're busy dodging the guaranteed torpedoes he has three fires on you and 8 citadels.
I had my eyes lasered in the early nineties. I had -8.5. Nowadays most doctors won't touch eyes with more then -3.5. To many risks of your eyes deteriorating in later life.

Don't think I'll ever shoot like you, but I've learned much about situational awareness, proper angling, etc. Am I to conservative, perhaps, but at least, I last longer than most and can usually finish in the top half!

AA was changed after the CV rework . now all you can do is activate a side that you want to focus on by pressing o and clicking on the green bit you want prioritised . and that's it . you can change sides as often as you like but it takes a few seconds to change sides . I imagine the gunners are running from side to side lool
Don't know why anyone has a lasic procedure until they're old enough for there to be next to no chance of any further deterioration of their eyesight. That's what my sister told me, and she's an ophthalmic surgeon. As to people taking a few antibiotics then stopping because "they feel fine", that's one reason why we're seeing more and more drug resistant pathogens. People are idiots if they think they know more about what's best for them than professionals who spend 10 years getting qualified.

I got the "Start at least two fires" order in my Yamato... This kind of mission only ever accidentally serves to enhance the gameplay. "Set some many fires - cause so many floodings - use at least so many consumables". However, WG runs the wanton risk of impairing the gaming experience of everybody else on the team, should the player choose to pursue the personal mission to the detriment of the team objective and thus endanger the team's success. Rather, Wargaming should have adopted the goal of using the bonuses as an incentive to reward players for learning what constitutes good gameplay, good teamplay, in the specific ship (type) they are currently using, and practice it. In a word, the missions need to be didacticized, they need to reward behaviour that increases the chances of the team's victory, ideally by enabling team mates to contribute more effectively. It needn't be hard. Or complicated. The most basic way would be to reward the most rudimentary function of the ship type. For destroyers - reward spotting, spotting damage, and capping, especially in Domination mode. For cruisers - reward damage dealt. For BBs - reward tanking damage, potential or otherwise. I'm sure that other players can come up with more interesting, more complex or more advanced tasks. And speaking of which, ideally, the personal missions could even be so personal as to really take the different player's experience and skill into account, measured by whichever metric seems appropriate. I.e. posing simpler tasks to more casual players and more complex ones to higher skilled players.
I mean it doesn't get smoke or heal and once people learn to adjust for the speed, they can hit it. Flambass would have died against the mino and Seattle without support

Eye laser surgery for better vision? I would recommend Eye lens swap operation instead. 20/20 vision and old age vision deteriation gone. Costs alot more but u get perfect vision until u die
get some nice polarised sunglasses to wear while you stream after the eyes are zapped, they will help a lot if you want to stream for your normal time of around 6hrs
You will have to take two days off since after the surgery you have a blindfold over your eyes and you can’t look at any screen for a while. The surgery doesn’t take long though.
Yes, I'd never get it done - it is elective surgery after all. I recall reading the stories about 'star vision' after a surgery that went wrong. I know it's a lot safer now-a-days but it is your vision. I can't imagine how hard life would be without that.

and set your screen to night light and darken your house during the day. the first 2-3 days after surgery your eyes can be very light sensitive.
Use all the things the doctor gives you. Last thing you need is scarring or infection.

Flambass, it took me one day. The recovery time depends on the accuracy and precision of the laser.
If you wear black spectacle which they recommend after any eye surgery i think you will avoid most of the pain.
Do you use CE in Kleber? I try a new build fort Le Terrible without CE but with IFHE and AFT. For flanking purpose.
Dump IFHE. It adds very little to your damage output and concealement is far more valuable.
