I knew a guy who's father owned a Bultaco 250cc Matador back during the 1969-1970 school year. His was red and black. He owned two Lobitos. One was a 100cc with a two tone blue and the other was a 125cc with a yellow gas tank. 😊❤
What a gorgeous example! I had a Matador SD 250. Bought it in Ellington,CT near the airport. (Seem to recall the dealership was associated with or near Corbin Gentry... Maybe someone remembers that dealership?) Rode in the NETRA enduro in Stafford Springs with it and would ride the trails in Shenipsit State Forest in Stafford CT. LOVED that bike. Such quality. Thanks so much guys!
This is THE channel where you will see the most amazing motorcycles and people like Bill here who was a professional racer back in the day. You won’t find better people who can educate you on the bike you are interested in purchasing. Truly amazing people who know more than the average rider including the history. It’s like motorcycle heaven! Love ❤️ you all! I’m a huge fan.
The gleam on the motor Is magnesium. The Spanish bikes in those days are really nice, I had 1972 Bultaco Shepa T, And the book has all the Models of Bultaco , montesa , and ossa. Thanks from NOR-CAL.
Another beauty! The hoses to the chain guard they have taken over at Bultaco back then from MZ. Looks like from the ES 250/2 or ETS 250.There are passable replicas.
It was a Wonderfull Decade to be young! Gerritsen Beach bklyn, Two Stroke Heaven! Cutting classes, & Takin a Romp in the Swamp! Beam Me up Scotty! Theres NOTHING down her NO more! Fond Memories....Sadly 😥....
Man. It'd be awesome to have one of them for some vintage hare scrambles..... And then rims holy crap I guarantee that's nicer than New you all really went above n beyond on this ol girl
Only a Real Reality Show. Amazing people and museum. A pleasure and privilege to do business with The Kaplans! I love my pristine 1985 Yamaha RZ 350cc 2 stroke Kenny Roberts Edition Streetbike I bought from them 1.5 months ago. Beautiful and a true Rippa! Rare old-school customer service. Nothing half-assed. Everything done with Old School Pride.
At that time most bikes had 4 inches in the rear...maybe 6-7 in front.....long travel suspension wasn't a thing till at least 76-77 and later...by 79 and beyond was when it really improved...then single shock came along
i got to race a pursang68 model.... it was all fibr3glass. including the fuel tank,...many bikes had. glass. tanks....it was a 250....weighed 300. very heavy..,yamahas where 75 pounds lighter
Time travelling right now back to the golden days! The sights and sounds!!! The feel!
Had to blow my mind, I have the OSSA too ! Crazy pair of rad bikes. My OSSA is 1970 Stilletto
