Sansui must have come back to life. It was a master stereo maker of the 60's and 70's. Likely much different than the gear of say 1976. Hope it is still quite good.
I am happy to see that i'm not the only one that still use this kind of devices in 2020. P.S. Until recently I could do the same thing with my Funai VCR + DVD combo. But curiously in my case the DVD side is broken. And the VCR part (famous for his dumb mechanics that destroys videotapes) is still working X-D
Got one around the corner at the Goodwill store. Problem... Haven't found a 'Compatible Universal Remote Control.' I you insert a DVD, there is no way to select 'Root Menu' or move the cursor to 'Play.' I've tried eBay and '6 Device Phillips' controllers. Nothing Compatible, so far.
