Accurate for modern kendamas. If you are dedicated and have a good teacher or group of friends to play with. You can easily pass all of these tricks in a year. Ive seen it happen with plenty of people.
It really just depends on what you practice some people can't juggle for the life of them and some people can't do any light house trucks or variations
I’ve played for 8 years. On n off during late teens. But to this day still I have only jammed out alone. I’ve gifted 10+ damas over the years and no one picked it up.
it's certainly possible but highly unlikely for 99% of people. I learn very quickly and had a good amount of juggling experience and skateboarding experience prior to kendama, and I don't even think I was that good that quick. could someone land that combo once with no prior experience after a few hours? sure they COULD. could they do it "easy" like you're saying? absolutely not. most people would not get it after a few hours practice with no prior experience. and if you're going to make a broad statement like that without qualifying, then I think you have to remember that you are talking about the vast majority of average people rather than a select few who are exceptionally coordinated and fast learners.@@bradwillard8009
Ive taught multiple people over the years and many have landed all of those tricks within the first hour of playing. Sometimes you need the right teacher.
@@bradwillard8009yeah ok. I play daily and cant do any of the one months and had my kendama since 2014. I can jstick 1 out of 30 times. And at that point I do what I do different.
1 day, 1 month, 6 months, 1 year... and every time the exact same park/grass/trees/leaves/clouds/weather/amount of sunlight/cars in parking spots/location and filming angle...
To everyone, please dont be discouraged. As you can see most people agree thats not normal progress. It might take you a bit longer but dont quit. Itll be worth it
@@Itsteeg kendamas were shaped different back then. And there weren't many videos to show what to do. Juggles weren't even a thing until I'd been playing a year or 2.
Just started playing again after like 6 years of not playing. I can't even describe how frustrating it is to not be able to do what I used too. So satisfying when I get an old trick back. To me kendama is the same as skateboarding. And also that's a sexy kendama haha. Just stain it dark brown and ooooh😮
У меня балансы вообще не получаются, правда у меня буковая кендама с АлиЭкспресс, я ей жопку высверлил а то тяженная была, но вся скользкая фиг что удержишь😢
I've been playing 1h/2h a day for 5 months and my progress looks like this. Only I had a good feeling with other types of tricks like border balance but otherwise it corresponds I find except that I am less precise in the movements :o
Kendama is meant to be fun, everyone has their own rate of progression. Don’t be discouraged it’s all a process that takes time, just like anything the more you put into it the more you’ll get out. This video was meant to demonstrate the level kendama is at nowadays if you play constantly 🙌❤️
Obviously haven’t practiced hard enough. I know people who have been playing 6 months and can do way harder stuff than this. Gotta put in the work. Consistency is key. A lot of people forget you gotta put in the work to get something out of it.
I picked up the kendama 2 months ago after 4-5 years and im landing way crazier stuff to be honest its all practice. Yesterday i landed lighthouse 4x flip swap juggle x2 in and 1-2-3 barrel roll
First time on a kendama in 4-5 years been going hard for 2 months and am landing 1-2-3 barrel roll, around ufo fasthand, lighthouse 4x flip swap juggle in. If ur not dedicated u wont see results.

@@G3TtOCHLDsame bro no one plays Ken in my city
Sounds like fun, I want to buy one.
lol this is cool but that "1st day" part was not very realistic. point received however :)
If he played with his balls all day its possible you dont know what edging does to you
if you dedicated like a few hours to that trick you could get it with no prior experience easy

I needed 1 month for that "1st day" so don't be disappointed in yourself
kendama is such a good hobby for those who wanna get off their phone more. it’s so fun and convenient too.
Any hobby
Remember we all progress at different paces.
1 day, 1 month, 6 months, 1 year...
and every time the exact same park/grass/trees/leaves/clouds/weather/amount of sunlight/cars in parking spots/location and filming angle...
2 years of Kendama (as a side hobby) and I'm not nearly this honed yet haha

Those same cars remained parked in their spots too. 😂
This is so inspiring and so cool. But yes, that first day.. boy 😂
I did kendama for 2 years and recently picked it back up!
I’ve been playing a few years and I’m not yet in this 1 month level
I❤this
6 months was more like a few years. And 1 year would probably take a bit at 10+. But it was a different time back then.
A few years to land a handle stall flip?? 😂
@@Itsteeg kendamas were shaped different back then. And there weren't many videos to show what to do. Juggles weren't even a thing until I'd been playing a year or 2.
I'm not even close to your progress. Maybe you are just gifted?
How??? I’ve been playing for nine years and I can’t even get the basics right 😱
Just got myself one. You are truly next level bro! 🔥
Bro played non-stop in this park for a year

I've been doing it for 2 months but you're actually too good at this (I'm Japanese and I can tell that you're the best!!)
I’ve harmed more people playing with this than my ninja skills ever could
How do you have so much good control
The “first day” is the first month
На первый день ушло 8 лет! Время все еще идет!😊

Thankyou for sharing 🙌❤️
Your day 1 is discouraging me from even touching my kendama again
Everyone learns at different paces, don't compare your progress to someone elses. That applies to everything not just kendama. Keep shredding my dude!
You should do it without a string
Clearly I suck at kendama cuz i have been doing it for a year and cant do most of these
Not true at all, just about how much time you put into it. In the end the goal is to just have fun and improve 😁
1st day MY ASS lmao
My first day isnt like that 😢
Satire
Hole looks massive. Novice kendama?
That pronunciation hurt my soul haha

Where can I purchase this kendama?
At the Kendama USA website my friend 🙌
I have been playing for a year and I am slightly worse then one month
This should be a representation of what it would look like playing almost everyday, don’t be discouraged with something you enjoy to do casually 😄👍
I like the painted blance hole ngl
This video makes me wanna quit lmfao i suck ads
Is that really how it’s said?
No lol
No way that’s 6 months lmao a base cup bird yea right this guys been doin this way more than that lol
