Farrokh Bulsara will always be in my heart. My 2 year old son rocks out to Queen on a daily basis. Queen will go on forever, and stand the test of time. My 17 year old was in awe when she found out there were no synthesizers used on their albums! Queen is a Legacy.
Couldn't agree more with Brian on his views on the industry. As a musician starting out, it is next to impossible to make anything besides small cash sums for session work. It's all thanks to the internet. Back in the day you had to prove your talent to an offline audience by playing shows, auditioning for labels etc. These days anyone can put music out there, and thanks to computer technology you don't even have to be talented. Great episode.
Freddie is considered to be best front man ever ... Dr. Brian up there as best guitarist ... Bo Rap best song ever ... But yes, Queen should be at the forefront of best band ever.
