I've been thinking about making a rickshaw with a 8 ft cabinet or compartment in the back to help the homeless and instead of getting in trouble with squatting on city property, when they get hassled, they just peddle their homes to another location. Great job!
Love to build one just like this to take my grandma and son along our esplanade after seeing this I’m going to get started on it ASAP thanks mate great job.
Pedicabs are so expensive. I would love to do a DIY one. Would be great if you could do this same video with a standard tricycle. I need mine to be not too wide like less than 3 feet. Also it would be cool to see a pedicab made from shopping carts.
I'm wanting to build a flat bed version that folds for storage and can fit in a standard closet! I'm working on prototype will go hybrid later on! Thank you awesome video!!!!
This is really cool! I'm hoping to shortly be wanting to build something exactly like this. I was thinking of buying, but it will actually be in a location in which shipping it there would cost more than the bike so I'm thinking of trying to make one there. Not welded in 25 years, but looks like would be a good project to have a go building. Thanks for making the video!
Hey there! I want to do this project, I know its been 4 years, I think I got it all figured, I'm wondering how you connected the hub on the back wheels to the axle. Looks like you threaded something through there. Mind giving me a pointer or two??
I would buy one but I could get a tuk tuk from India for less than 2000 dollars or a rickshaw from china for around the same seriously though if you could find a way to build these from renewables or just really cheap you could swoop in on a massive profit margin especially if you could incorporate the bicycle campervan idea into a larger model trust me people want these there is indeed a demand 😉 💡 😉
Please consider doing a pdf you can reach the world helping struggling farmers to reach local market with there produce and I don't mind paying for a pdf DIY instruction manual. Nice job well done 👌👍

I really think bicycle companies really should make rickshaws, both bicycle and human pulled.

That’s cool, you should definitely film your build 👍

Great job how I get in touch with you to see if you could built a project for me
Really cool how u made it. How much would you charge for a custom made pedicab
Off the top of my head I’d say your looking at around £5000. I’m glad you liked the video 👍
KSKS ok thanks I was kind of looking for $2000 to $3000 cad range but cool

How are the rear wheels connected to the axle . Do both wheels drive?
No way! This is a great build! Is it a build for a customer or are you setting up a new side business?
David Daniels Craftsman it was for a customer.
I see you don't use any differential but I am looking for one. Do you have any idea where I can find one ? Thanks
Maybe off a broken quad bike or a trailer, possibly some old farm equipment, eBay or Facebook marketplace is a good place to look 👍
A lot of pedicabs use go kart diffs.
Any pdf for plans??? 😍
No I made it up as went

What kind of pipe are you using for the frame?
It was just some 20mm seamed tube
Can u give me the diamentions of the rickshaw u have built. It's for our project
Yes. Which dimensions do you need?
