  • Voyage Round the World in His Majesty's Frigate Pandora
    by George Hamilton
George Hamilton was the surgeon assigned to the frigate Pandora. The British Admiralty ordered the ship to the Pacific to arrest the Bounty mutineers and bring them back to England for trial. The commander, Captain Edward Edwards, also was ordered to chart the passage between Australia and New Guinea. While Edwards managed to arrest the mutineers still on Tahiti, he sank the Pandora on a reef near Australia. Hamilton tells this story and also the story of the crew's fate after the Pandora sank. (Summary by Roy Schreiber)

Thank you for taking the time to narrate this and upload it. You have every business narrating this. Much appreciated. Your narrating this does a great service and if putting in this work benefits your ego you have every right to be proud..

Is there an account of the grounding on the reef anywhere?

if you search for it you can read the minutes from the British naval enquiry into the whole affair held by the admirlity, it's no audiobook and there's a lot of talk that unless you are familiar with the language of the sea will be hard to understand but if you enjoyed this audiobook you obviously know your basics, I can't give you the link but it's out there I also find the London gazzete a good source of naval history they got an excellent database of quite possibly everything they ever printed, I love this kind of thing too

The narrator is fine, his mic is the problem. Please invest in a microphone, it will get rid of the tiny, metallic distortion caused by using the cheep built-in mic that came with his device.
    Thank you for reading.

This gentleman has no bussiness narrating an audiobook! Neither do I for that matter but I accept my limitations and try not to please my ego.

I would be interested in hearing your criteria for why this person should not make audiobooks?
      After all, it is:
      In his own time
      At his own expense
      For free
The best way to improve, through doing.
You speak of not trying to please your ego, yet here you are doing just that.

I thank the narrator for his time and effort, and would like to point out the obvious point,, listening wasn't compulsory it was optional.
