I went to the Melissa store in nyc and bought the clear bag. Definitely looks better than the one mailed to me from Telfar.
That’s good! I wonder why Telfar doesn’t have the same quality.
@justcandy5561 Well, most stores in Soho New York take care of their merchandise. They usually big on keeping a good reputation.
I got the black jelly, and I'm obsessed with my bag.
I wish I had every color! The clear one arrived with so many defects, I was scared to order the other colors lol.

The Large size is perfect for travel & it passes as a carry on size at the airport 💘

Omg my medium one came the exact same way. Scratched and foggy. Almost looks worn. I was so disappointed. The small one came in perfect condition so I was able to compare them and really see the flaws.
Why would they send us dirty/scratched bags 😭 at least your small one arrived in perfect condition! I wonder why the mediums are poor quality.

I love this review! My brown medium bag is currently still on the way and I wanted to ask you if it had a strong smell when it arrived? If so, how did you get rid of it? Lots of people on their instagram page are in the comments talking about it and I’m trying to figure out what I need to do. Praying mine doesn’t come scratched up because I’ll definitely be emailing them pictures as well!😫
Definitely sends those pics if it comes in bad condition 👀!! I’ve used it for days straight & traveled with it, still smells.. lol. Idk how to get rid of the smell. I’ve even wiped it down with a cloth and coconut oil, to get the smudges out and make it look nice and shiny. At least it’s giving a jelly/plastic scent vs a carbon/chemical scent!
@@justcandy5561 Ok thank you so much!❤️ I also peeped that they are telling customers to use soap and water to get rid of the smell and the “protective film” but it doesn’t seem like it’s working for anyone lol so I’ll see what everything looks like once it gets here and get my email together lol😭
@@JuelCWest soap and water? I know we did not pay what we paid to use soap and water to clean our bags. The factory should’ve used soap and water before boxing it up. LOL, that’s so funny.
@@justcandy5561 Exactly! Absolutely crazy! I also find it odd that they are the only Luxury brand I know without a real return policy. This is my first Telfar and I’m already getting disappointed before it arrives, I’ve always second guessed getting one because there aren’t any compartments inside but I really loved how the brown jelly bag looked😭

I really was on the verge about getting this bag and using it as a beach bag...but just the thought of it turning yellow and foggy later on just turned me away..and I'm sure it turned a lot of people away which is why it took so long to sell out lol..but yea your review tells me everything i need to know...wont be adding this to my collection..

Mellissa’s Melflex doesn’t get yellow or foggy
I’m used to buy Melissa jelly sandals and all of the products come like this, all you need to do is wipe it down with a cloth and just plain water and it will be clean!
Do you think the medium size to use as a beach bag
I used my medium size the other day for the beach and barely fit my essentials,(my towel & blanket didn’t fit). Large would actually be a better size, beach essentials would fit better 😎
Lol ok, I was not the only one that thought about cutting the straps. I like that it's a clear bag but the straps are totally killing it for me. They are thick as heck!
Thick and heavy! My sister cut her straps off and the bag looks so good.

I went to the Melissa store and got mine! It was clean and had no scratches! So it may be a problem with Telfar...
I started to get this bag in medium but the fact that it has no snap closure is why I didn’t get it. Glad I came across your review

If you want an everyday bag, medium for sure. Travel/weekend bag, go for the large.
I received mine and the smell is terrible lol Mine is looking about like yours as well. About the only good thing is the size lol

I got it in black and my bag was cloudy and dirty as well…. I was very disappointed. I have 2 furla candy jelly bags and when I got them they were beautiful, clear and shiny. I tried cleaning it with windex but it didn’t help much. I really like the bag but was disappointed with the dirtiness.
Did you ask for a replacement? I used coconut oil and a cloth to clean my smudges & make it shiny 👍

Same !! I’m sooooo disappointed. My clear pink came yesterday and it’s not even clear . It’s wayyy darker pink than the pictures and super foggy, dirty and scratched up like they through them all in a bin after sanding them by accident at the factory, then threw them in bags n shipped them off . I was excited to get it and the actual look of the bag really killed my vibe.
Ohhh no!! What size did you order? I ordered the pink small… I’m nervous, haven’t received it yet. I sent pictures via email of my clear medium and they are sending a new one. Haven’t received it…. But we shall see if it’s in better condition!! Great concept but the execution is horrible; especially for the price $$.

Ok Soo boom!! I’m just got my bag and I must say that I agree with you on how the bag came out the box on it being a little dusty looking. Also mine has a little dent n some spots in it 😢 not going lie I still love my bag and plan on keeping it
Ok soo boom! Lol love that! Girl, I wrote an email… I couldn’t take it. I just want to see what response I get. Why is it so dirty and scratched compared to what they have on display!! And I searched the small size and it’s CLEAR! Shiny & clear. Haven’t found a picture of someone who posted the large size yet.

I agree I'm super disappointed.
I was so excited to get my large pink jelly bag, but it looks dirty and I wished that companies cared more about the customers. Someone had to see how those bags looked before they went in the dust bag.
If you’re really dissatisfied, email them! Send them pictures, ask for a replacement. Too expensive to receive such poor quality.

I so wanted the pink one but after seeing the reviews on these I just went with Coach’s Jelly Bag.
The coach jelly is sooo cute!! I just saw it the other day. 👍🏼 good choice!
