- Hello Friends! Today I’m doing an EXTREME Closet Clean Declutter Organize! This is a complete bedroom organization and decor makeover 2024! My closet was out of control so it was time to do a closet clean out and organization reset before Christmas! I wanted to do a little room makeover 2024 so I have affordable cozy decor ideas I want to share and of course all the declutter and organization TIPS and ideas on how to get rid of things! Love your channel. Sometimes you make me feel I don't know the right word but you always seem to have it together and are so organized. I love watching you declutter, cook and plan. Suggestion-since you have so many hangers left, switch all of your stuff onto white hangers. I did that and the joy it gives me to see how pretty my racks look in my little closet is incredible. I used the next populated color for my husband and the next for the guest closet.

Looks great! My closet has black velvet hangers, I like that they are non slip. Left side of closet is short sleeved tops, right side long sleeved tops and dresses, sweaters are folded. Any pants and t shirts go in my dresser
I want to eventually switch all our hangers over to velvet! Especially the kids closets because their shirts slip off the hangers all the time! Thanks for sharing💕

We have the fire ladders in our closets too. Someone gave me the tip to open the box and take it out of the cellophane wrapping. It’s super tight on there and would take up precious time in an emergency. Just thought I would pass that tip along!

I put sweaters all together, cardigans all together, short sleeve blouses, long sleeve, pants all together. My husband takes up more closet space than me, so many mens shirts.

Nice video. Just a tip, matching hangers make it look a bit neater. Can also turn hangers around and check again in 6 months to see what was not worn….the hanger was not turned back when worn.
Yes! Matching hangers are on my list to replace soon because I want to get velvet ones💕 Someone else also gave the tip to turn the hangers around, I love that idea!

Tip. Get rid of all but about ten hangers and when you want to but something say do I have the space and a hanger for it.

Love a good declutter and organize! I can totally see what you are saying about being able to see the sweatshirts so I'm glad turning them worked out! My closet is color coordinated but it's new within the last 6mos but so far so good. I do also have things separated? So tshirts, fitted ts, long sleeve, nicer long sleeve n sweaters. So each section is color coordinated😂 tshirts are my go to mom uniform so that's why they in front lol. The choice for the lights is too difficult for me lol. I guess id have to ask, where am I going to see them more/get more use. Then I'd also invest in another set later.

Turn hangers opposite way, as you wear something turn hanger the opposite direction. At end of your timeline- 6 months or 1 year then anything that is still not turned around goes to donation

Personally, I like the lights on the gallery wall. Unless you are spending a lot of time in your closet at night it doesn't seem necessary. And for me books are impossible to let go of. I don't have a lot of clothes so decluttering isn't hard to do but those darn books...
My husband has the hardest time letting go of books too! Do you have a favorite author? I’m always looking for a good book to read💕📚
@@MillerFamilyVibes honestly, I haven't read anything really good for a while. Seems like a lot I've read is poorly written and that's just irritating. My favorite author is Richard Bach. My favorites that he wrote are Illusions and Jonathan Livingston Seagull ❤

Kitchen food storage containers - I just can’t say goodbye to them!! Even the lidless ones or the lids without a container 😂 I replaced all my plastic containers with glass, then put all the plastic ones in boxes to chuck out because they don’t take them at donation places but somehow they remain in my garage!! 😊

I think the hardest thing for me to get rid of are my hoodies/sweatshirts, leggings and my flannels. I am a legging type of girl myself and my flannels pair really well with my leggings.

You need to switch to the thin velvet hangers. You would have twice as much room in your closet. I wish you could donate these to the NC, SC, TN, FL hurricane people. Goodwill will just turn around and sell them and make a profit. These people that went through the hurricane have nothing left.
I wish I could give these clothes to everyone impacted by the hurricanes also🧡 I don’t donate to Goodwill, we give to the American Veterans💕
