The pouches that they sell at Disneyland where you can hold your pins are super helpful to hold your license, credit card, etc. So i usually put my cards in that pouch and wear them around my neck and attach my keys to my lanyard. Then you can use the fanny pack to hold everything else like your phone, sunscreen, etc. Chapstick can also be a great thing to bring with you because sometimes extreme temperature changes can cause your lips to be dry, so that's always helpful too.
The fanny pack is a must do for any Disney park. I (Peter) have gotten grief from almost anyone who has never been to a Disney park for wearing a fanny pack but anyone and everyone who has been understands how great they are!
I recently purchased one because I hate carrying things on my shoulders! Plus, you don't have to worry about putting down bags for meet and greets, you just spin it around to the back so you don't see it in your pictures!
You guys should do a week on extinct attractions like the motor boats, submarine ride, sky buckets, country bear jamboree, the people mover, the old monorail and do the history behind it.
I love this video! I'm an Annual Passholder, but I feel like everyone at Thingamavlogs always does an amazing job of catering to both veteran Disneyland fans and those who only go rarely!
At Walt Disney World I WOULD recommend carrying a plastic water bottle or two fill with already filtered water because the water in Orlandocan taste a bit sulfury
A plastic bag for your phone if you go on wet rides. Oh and take your socks, if you're wearing them, off before going on wet rides as well. That way if your feet get wet you can put your socks back on and they'll be nice and dry. Plus no one likes sloshy socks. Keeping your feet comfortable throughout the day in the park is the most important thing especially when it's hot. Also, if you do go on a wet ride but don't want to get all your stuff wet, put your stuff in lockers. They're only $7 for a regular one, which can actually hold a lot of stuff. This is helpful if you're spending the whole day at the Disney Parks. Fun fact: there are lockers over in California Adventure that are right by Grizzly Rapids that hold your stuff for free for two hours! Also if you want to cool down on a hot day but don't want to wait in any lines, the Animation Academy (fav spot during the summer) is a great place to sit and relax and cool off with no lines! Hope this was helpful!
I have a toddler so I always have baby wipes on hand! They work wonders for cleaning up any food spills on clothes and can also freshen up pits faces and other places
Look at you bringing back the fanny pack! I cant go to any amusement park without my portable phone charger, along with a ziploc bag in case I go on any water rides!
tina's right about the band aids, especially for tea cup fans (bloody hands-ouch)! don't forget the mints, as no one likes to be in line next to the heavy breather with stank breath, but leave the gum at home. thanks for the other ideas.
The combo spray bottle/fan I bought from the parks last October saved my trip! I still use it on hot days at work and my student love getting sprayed with the bottle when we are outside!
I wish I could pack that light, especially make-up-wise. But I have found that concealer (Maybelline Age Rewind is fast and easy) and a damp beautyblender (or equivalent--the RT sponge is also fab) is a quick way to touch up your foundation, and it's really refreshing if you use super cold water. Bonus: use a plastic Easter egg to keep the sponge, so it doesn't get squished into a weird shape or dampen your stuff.
Nice! I just don't like the feeling of layering make up on top of my oily/sweaty skin, which is why the setting spray and oil paper is a lifesaver! It doesn't mess up make up you already have on. That sponge tip is BOSS! -Tiff
Such good advice! I bring a flannel too but I use it to put over my shoulders when I'm in an outside line in direct heat because I get sunburns really bad on my shoulders, so the flannel is a nice sort of extra layer of protection when I'm nervous about my sunscreen having been sweated off!
You're so cute, Tiff! I surprisingly learned a lot from this, I didn't know the tip about hand sanitizer in the armpits (and I totally didn't expect to learn it from a "what's in my bag" video... lol) and that portable fan is so handy! Definitely getting one before I go to Disney next. Great video! ❤️
+Thingamavlogs no way! I had no idea! So sorry to hear this! I could never be able to tell the difference when shopping there! Well now I feel terrible!😣
This is awesome! I might get a lot of that stuff, especially the fanny pack, the ZPD hat & the travel sunscreen. Thanks, Tiff! I am surprised that you don't bring an external charger. It's a must!
I am going to keep that hand sanitizer thing in mind for sure .. And for my husband lol 😅 .. I always make sure to bring a mister that has a fan and aspirin and Benadryl all the time, you never know when they can come in handy and your too far from the first aid place
I was just in Disney a few weeks ago during the heat and a tip I've discovered, it's gonna sound weird, but if you have any skin to skin rubbing issues and you get a rash or anything, use baby powder to prevent rubbing/sweat and you'll be comfortable all day (:
You're so cute Tiff! Great tip about the fanny pack and back sweat.. lol I'm going to WDW in 3 weeks and I'm trying to decide what to take for park bags, so now I'll definitely make sure to take a fanny pack too! love your videos!
I like to take a product called Glide when I go to the parks. Especially when I'm wearing cute shoes. Glide is a product that helps prevent blisters on your feet. It is also good to help with heat rash. Check it out #notsponsored
Great video Tiff, I love that you are a fan of fanny packs (or bum bags as we call them here in the UK!) as I always used to get teased for wearing mine, but you are one of the coolest gals around so I feel more confident rocking one now! I'm going for a day in Disneyland Paris next month and it actually gets really hot in August there too, so your tips were very helpful. 😊
Awesome tips. I normally don't like going anywhere during summer except Warped Tour (which I have no other choice on since the festival is only a Summer thing here) ,but I know how hot Disney gets during Summer. Good Idea on the flannel thing. I take a sweater even if it's hot. A thin blanket also works. (Also great to sit on in case you need the sweater.) I also pack Sweatpants during Fall, Winter & Spring (If you're wearing shorts, a skirt, dress ect ect.) because, you usually need it at night and totally helps against those mosquitoes that you can't see when it's dark out and sitting anywhere near water. I remember coming back all bitten that time I thought I was too cool to put on my sweats while the sun was barely setting because, I wanted to look nice. Well I sat through the entire parade freezing and got bit so, lesson learned. Tip: Don't go to Disneyland dressed like if you're going to a Prom. (Unless you're not staying long or have comfy clothes on hand) Most likely no one will remember you. Also, don't be afraid to do fun things like certain rides, see shows, meet characters ect just because, you think it's "for kids only" no. Have fun. The park is for The Young & Old. I still run up to Alice and get starstruck...I'm 18. If I can do it so can you.
I've been looking for some $1 or so oil blotting sheets because I love ELF's but they put green tea extract...which makes me break out...so it really is counterintuitive
I always make sure I have a wireless charger in case my phone decides to die because service sometimes in the parks is not reliable and it takes forever to upload pictures cause I am impatient lol.
Hey Tiff, do you use that setting spray very often? How long would you say it lasts? (thank you for all these recommendations! now I want you guys to do a beauty-guru-style theme week because I loved this.)
I use it every day I know I'm going to be outside for a few hours. I usually only use it once in the morning because it lasts a really long time. I only take it with me and apply later if I'm outside for like 6+ hours. It's amazing! -Tiff
I didn't know about the hand sanitizer tip! I'm keeping that in mind for my next summer trip.
Awesome!

The gummy bear ride lol
I love this video! I'm an Annual Passholder, but I feel like everyone at Thingamavlogs always does an amazing job of catering to both veteran Disneyland fans and those who only go rarely!
Good to know that we are able to help all Disney park goers out!
Also I love that fanny packs are making a comeback. Stylish and functional!
At Walt Disney World I WOULD recommend carrying a plastic water bottle or two fill with already filtered water because the water in Orlandocan taste a bit sulfury
I fell in love with your iphone case and ordered the Peter Pan one right away! Its so cute and well made!

Nice! Definitely a great item to throw in a backpack!
Look at you bringing back the fanny pack! I cant go to any amusement park without my portable phone charger, along with a ziploc bag in case I go on any water rides!
I've never NOT been into the fanny pack 😂 -Tiff
my fave thing to bring is a tiny first aid kit with band aids and towelettes my daughter scrapes he knee ALOT! so it comes in handy
Awesome! You can also get bandaids from the first aid room at the end of Main Street!
+Thingamavlogs :)
tina's right about the band aids, especially for tea cup fans (bloody hands-ouch)! don't forget the mints, as no one likes to be in line next to the heavy breather with stank breath, but leave the gum at home. thanks for the other ideas.
I bring a reusable water bottle with a built in filter, so useful for any disney trip. great tips I love videos like these!
The combo spray bottle/fan I bought from the parks last October saved my trip! I still use it on hot days at work and my student love getting sprayed with the bottle when we are outside!
Those are great!

Me and my family always goes to Frank and Sons so we always get cool and nice stuff from there.
It's a dangerous place when you are trying to watch your funds XD -Tiff
I love those blotting oil sheets from Daiso and it is so affordable!
They are a live saver!
Such good advice! I bring a flannel too but I use it to put over my shoulders when I'm in an outside line in direct heat because I get sunburns really bad on my shoulders, so the flannel is a nice sort of extra layer of protection when I'm nervous about my sunscreen having been sweated off!
Yes! I always cover up my shoulders/arms if it's really bad. -Tiff
You're so cute, Tiff! I surprisingly learned a lot from this, I didn't know the tip about hand sanitizer in the armpits (and I totally didn't expect to learn it from a "what's in my bag" video... lol) and that portable fan is so handy! Glad to help! -Tiff
Also those phone cases you can also purchase from Hot Topic (they also have some super cute Disney stuff!) I have a Peter Pan one! So useful!
Hot Topic often rips off independant designers (myself included) so I never endorse or recommend them. -Tiff
+Thingamavlogs no way! I had no idea! So sorry to hear this! I could never be able to tell the difference when shopping there! Well now I feel terrible!😣
Tiff is so cute omg
Some one from the tv show once upon a time has your 7 dwarf shirts
Woah!!! never knew about the arm pits smell hack. That's so convenient . Thanks Tiff!
I use the maps as a fan 😂
YAS! Free fans! Haha -Tiff
That fanny pack is a must. Great tips and tricks
This is awesome! I might get a lot of that stuff, especially the fanny pack, the ZPD hat & the travel sunscreen. Thanks, Tiff! I am surprised that you don't bring an external charger. It's a must!
I only ever deplete my battery now because of Pokemon Go! But I have the 6S Plus and the battery life is amazing! -Tiff
That ZPD hat & the fanny pack!!!!!! 👌👌
Thanks! Links to everything is in the description :)
Yay! Tiff you're using the iPhone fan tip from Hong Kong and could you please upload the Hong Kong Disneyland videos? Thank you! +Thingamvlogs
Yeah girl! Just gotta wait til my footage works with one of the themes! -Tiff
Amazing tips and good to know fanny packs ar perfectly acceptable in Disney!! 😯
They are acceptable everywhere!!!!!! FANNY PACKS FOREVER!
I am going to keep that hand sanitizer thing in mind for sure .. And for my husband lol 😅 .. I always make sure to bring a mister that has a fan and aspirin and Benadryl all the time, you never know when they can come in handy and your too far from the first aid place
Always good to be prepared!
I didn't know that about hand sanitiser! I'm off to WDW in a few weeks I'm gonna try this tip ! X
Have fun and stay cool!
I like to bring a little battery charger to the parks, that way if my phone needs to charge up, I don't need an outlet!
Especially with that fan attachment!
Yup! External batteries are a must!
I was just in Disney a few weeks ago during the heat and a tip I've discovered, it's gonna sound weird, but if you have any skin to skin rubbing issues and you get a rash or anything, use baby powder to prevent rubbing/sweat and you'll be comfortable all day (:
I actually use deodorant! Keep those thighs from chaffing! -Tiff
You're so cute Tiff! Great tip about the fanny pack and back sweat.. lol I'm going to WDW in 3 weeks and I'm trying to decide what to take for park bags, so now I'll definitely make sure to take a fanny pack too! love your videos!
Back sweat just isn't cute! 😂
Tiff goes to Daiso, love it!

This was super helpful!!! Thanks for all the tips!
You're welcome!

-Tiff
how do u guys feel about the tower of terror being changed!!! I'm so upsettttt
I think we've all posted our thoughts on our personal social media pages! I'm personally really excited about it! DCA needs a big change :) -Tiff
+Thingamavlogs yeah but it's too bad for Disney fans in California who can't travel all the way to Florida :/
+_frecklefaced_ if you look on the bright side, now we'll have something else that you can't find in any other Disney park!
+tjdietz yeah but it's a shame that they couldn't have put anywhere else in the park and that they have to take down such a great ride
+_frecklefaced_ The ride will be exactly the same. Just a different theme. :)
I just subscribed to your channel and I love your disney videos! Very helpful!
