Plz help me im not sure if i have fungal acne cuz it looks like what ur sowing i the picture but its mostly in my nose area and forehead but its not itchy?
Well the next question would be have you tried regular bacterial acne treatments? Is your skin barrier healthy? Does your skin feel irritated in some way? Look into things like that and you will probably get a better idea.
@@joshuamatheny7072 no i havent tried bacteria treatment and my acnes r not irritating ans its mostly in the nose area and at some point they get dried and it just fall of if i rub
Same case with my husband. It looks like that but he said it's not itchy. I watched some videos that suggesting to wash your face with head and shoulders shampoo, so he tried. And it works, not instant but the result can be seen
Dandruff shampoo. Nizoral. I get fungal acne myself and when I learned that dandruff shampoo works, I tried it and it worked. Form what I’ve heard it’s best to use nizoral so that’s what I always use
@@divya.bharathi.14tbh all the videos I watched on it just recommended Nizoral so that’s what I used and it worked for me so I’ve stuck with it ever since.

Both conditions are similar in nature and are treated the same way but even if someone has seb derm, it doesn’t necessarily mean they will get acne that grows from the overgrowth in yeast.
@@joshuamatheny7072 Oh wow ok Ty. Are you saying with Seb Derm I don’t have to worry if fungal acne is feeding off certain fatty acids or moisturizers?
@@theeemnm So you’d wanna listen to ur skin and see what works and what doesn’t. Ideally you would wanna avoid really heavy occlusive creams because it can hold in a lot of that sebum, however if your skin can tolerate it, then there isn’t a reason to stop. Oils however you wouldn’t wanna use other than squalane or mct oil.
PLEASE WHAT FUCKING TREATMENTS. THIS HAS BEEN GOING ON FOR 3 MONTHS. I TRIED ANTI BACTERIAL, I TRIED GENTLE CLEANSER, I TRIED HEAD AND SHOULDER SHAMPOO ON MY FUCKING FACE BUT IT STILL WONT GO AWAY.
Try Nizoral dandruff shampoo. I have fungal acne myself and before I knew what it was nothing worked. When I went to get a facial the esthetician told me I had fungal acne and when I looked into treatments a dermatologist suggested Nizoral. I bought some and that has worked for me.
I get it along my jawline. I wash my face with it when I shower. I’ll wet my face, put some of the shampoo in the spot where the fungal acne is and leave it there while I wash my body. Then I wash it off since you’re supposed to leave it on for about 5 mins
I tried teatree oil like i saw in one of your videos and it helped so much..thank you

dandruff shampoo works for some people
@@uptownkoala305 i trie that too
@@uptownkoala305so do you just apply it on your face?
@@uptownkoala305 Try using an antifungal cream or lotion on the affected area. Ketoconazole or clotrimazole are enough. A month or two and u r good.

So I am so confused because isn’t this also a form of Seb Derm?
