Golden Freddy, thirsty for revenge, keeps all the souls, who are able to pass on and rest, *_hostage,_* only to get *_revenge_* on William Afton, with no mercy, full reign of this Hell; They are all trapped, kept hostage, for revenge, with none of them being able to escape Golden Freddy's anger. The emotion *Anger* is what keeps them all hostage; Human-Emotions are powerful, able to make things come to life, create dangerous entities, like the Shadow Animatronics, with each emotion doing something different. *_Anger_* is *_powerful_* and especially Golden Freddy's anger, for William Afton. _But there is hope._ A character, called *_Old Man Consequences,_* from the *non-canon* game *_FNaF World,_* arrives to deliver some advice to Golden Freddy/Cassidy/Evan Afton. _Old Man Consequences_ says: *_Let the Demon to his Demons. Rest your own Soul; There is nothing else._* _Old Man Consequences_ is trying to say that Golden Freddy should _leave_ William Afton be, _release_ all the souls and that Golden Freddy should move on; *_There is nothing else to achive._* Golden Freddy takes Old Man Consequences advice and moves on, releasing all the souls, releasing William Afton, letting him rot in Hell, and rests, forever. A good conclusion to the FNaF-Series... In my opinion I don't think vanny and Vanessa are the same person because of a certain ending and some tapes and also a theory that a guy on UA-cam made and it makes sense too
From my understanding, Vanny is a ghost of sorts, most likely responsible for the animatronics going insane at night. She possessed Vannessa's mind and must've been using some kind of device or power to disrupt the animatronics from being able to see her when she was in her Rabbit costume.
