I LOVE it! My 11 year old plays this group's EP every day, then she sings a little Mali Music, then she goes into her own worship. I don't have any issue with this form of gospel music, because it opens the door for questions and I answer them according to the word of God. The word says "If I be lifted, I will draw all men unto me" and these babies are doing their part to lift His name, and He's doing His part by drawing the listeners. If it isn't for you, don't knock it. Just find what ministers to you. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!

I recently discovered Montell Fish and must admit that I love his music as much as I love what I just watched here. Old school, new school, one school: The Church of Christ. I am African, and in church we groove to African rhythms played on xylophones, tam-tams and njembes that are nothing like Shirley Caesar's ( not to mention a great majority of worshipers may not even know her hehehe). But it is still worshiping God.

I don't listen to secular music because I feel convicted, but that doesn't mean I'm going to walk around and say it's sin for someone else. We can't pass our opinions off as holiness!
Being a 35 yr old mother of 3 I can accept, receive and appreciate all forms of God and how he comes. It's only when you allow religion to get in the way of God's movement. When you do that you're serving religious purpose and not God's pupose. God flows how he wants to flow, orthodox, and unorthodox. However there are multiple expressions of the Lord but only ONE LORD. If you enjoy old school Gospel and how he flows that way then that's your preference but please discern in the spirit before assuming that the Lord isn't present during these young kids praising & worshiping HIM. When the lord moves just get out the way and allow God to be God and quit allowing the enemy to have his way by adding extra confusion to the world already with negative opinions.

I don't listen to secular music because I feel convicted, but that doesn't mean I'm going to walk around and say it's sin for someone else. We can't pass our opinions off as holiness!
I admired this group and that reason i played their Gospels all days..
This touched me so deeply!
Being a 35 yr old mother of 3 I can accept, receive and appreciate all forms of God and how he comes. It's only when you allow religion to get in the way of God's movement. When you do that you're serving religious purpose and not God's pupose. God flows how he wants to flow, orthodox, and unorthodox. However there are multiple expressions of the Lord but only ONE LORD. If you enjoy old school Gospel and how he flows that way then that's your preference but please discern in the spirit before assuming that the Lord isn't present during these young kids praising & worshiping HIM. When the lord moves just get out the way and allow God to be God and quit allowing the enemy to have his way by adding extra confusion to the world already with negative opinions.

But again if it wer Beyonce or someone of secular artist folks would be all over it. SMH only because they're trying to lift up the kingdom of heaven is why folks have a problem with it. But folks better stop to think this song might be the song that helps your child walk down the isle and get save or better yet it might help your child receive total deliverance from their addiction. You can get hype and still be about the Lord its not the music its the message and the anointing.

Everyone saying the beat was a little secular but this is 2014! We aren't singing beatless hyms and hey that beat might catch the attention of some young thug/prostitute, they hear the message in those lyrics and turn their life around... Stop judging/critiquing everything and just ENJOY for once! Idk if you've noticed but they love the Lord and they have anointing all over them which pours out in their praise/songs
The're anointed most def :))...in spite of the fact that some of the numbers conformed to the world's taste and standards....that "satisfied" shows that God still uses who ever he blesses with his gifts!

This group is awesome and anointed! I wish people would get past beats and focus on the content within the music. The beat is not the important part of the song. The beat makes you feel a certain way, while the lyrics are what can influence your thinking and mentality. Anyways their new album is awesome and can reach the saved and unsaved!
@PUTONLOVE I totally agree with the lyrics because its hard for gospel musiciains to become mainstream and still reach the world in a different way... and because of this type of gospel music it has brought alot of people, that dont know God or believe in God, to him....... this is appealing to the younger audience... "Jesus" didn't even make "gospel" music. There was no specific sound indicated when the bible says, "let everything that hath breath praise the Lord" ...nor specified persons/people. What is with you "holier than thou" folk? How can you ever have any negative emotion towards anyone or anything calling out praises to God?? HE said praise Him, YOU didn't say it...nor are you appointed to. No matter who you are, where you are, what you're doing, how you're living, young, old, etc YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO PRAISE GOD however your natural mind, body, & soul prompt you to praise! #Godspeed

And, hip hop gospel music DOES exist just as jazz gospel, traditional gospel, etc. Gospel MUSIC has MANY forms, but the word of GOD is what does not EVER change but how it's presented will ALWAYS change. They are very clear they are talking about Jesus. 'Old school' is not the 'best school', it's just a different form.
I was confused in the beginning.... I thought they were singing a club song with those beginning lyrics.... still love them despite it all......

Listen to the MESSAGE, and quit being so critical. They all are so young and have chosen to devote their gifts back to God, do you know how discouraging your comments can be?
