Thank you Mommy! I noticed others are commenting on the window treatment pool noodle upgrade. I wanted to add to that: pipe insulation "noodle" found at the hard ware store. It is black, sliced down the length so you can clamp it on INSTEAD of removing the fabric, and the added benefit it is more dense, more rigid for a more precise space conformation. Plus you get the added benefit of blocking light escape if used in bedroom etc. And that Eucalyptus remover BLEW my mind. Going to try it on bumper sticker/equipment sticker removal. Yippee.

Essential oil can be too potent for your skin if it’s not diluted with mineral oil. But cheap Dollar Tree baby oil or petroleum jelly works great for removing adhesive labels. Just remove the excess oil with alcohol, before washing the bottle. My Mom taught us how to fold towels like this too, years ago. It’s a great way to neatly stack more towels in a smaller closet or storage place. Thanks again for sharing! Btw, I’m a new subscriber 🤗

There's a few hacks I've never seen before. Thank you!! You can also use lemon essential oil to remove any stubborn stickers. I'll have to try the Eucalyptus! One of my all time home hacks I do often, is o take oyr dish brush, throw it The microwave damp and turn it on for 2 minutes, leaving it in there an additional minute. This disinfects it and I feel much better when cleaning dishes. We don't use wash cloths due to bacteria build up, so we love the brushes. So so easy to clean after each use.

That removing sticker residue trick works with tons of different oils, it doesn't have to be eucalyptus. Orange oil, vegetable oil, olive oil, oil from your face...don't ask me why I know, lol. Generally, it's just the oil that removes the stickiness from non-porous surfaces.
Same with the microwave, the steam does most of the work, you can add soap, or vinegar, or lemon or orange etc.

I love how she says pasta, and I love the idea, as well. My mom taught me to fold towels that way, too. I think any oil helps to get the label residue off, maybe not as fast, but it will work.

Any oil DOES work. it’s great for removing sap left on hands from Christmas trees!!

I’ve used canola oil, olive oil...any oil available gets the sticky residue off...even if part of the label is still stuck on! I’ve even used the oil to remove stickers from acrylic frames etc...works like charm!

I liked the flowers in the vase with tape to be a really good idea. What really got my attention was the way you clean the fan in the bedroom. I always make sure that I have to strip the bed right after I do the fan. This new way of doing it with the pillowcase is how I'll be doing it from now on. Wonderful ideas!🏆💡

I'm in my 40's, and most of these "hacks" I've done for years, and learned them from my mother. I'm always surprised that others don't already know or do these things.

Lemon essential oil is also fantastic for removing labels.

I swear by a mix of baking soda and cooking oil. Lemon essential oil is a bit too pricey to use on that, imo. 😂

I was told once you remove the paper part of the label, set it into boiling hot water w/a few drops of Dawn dishwashing liquid, for 10-15 minutes. Afterwards, it should just wipe away w/a paper towel. IF not, repeat. However, I have heard of using baby oil. (But, I've never tried it.)

great tricks, I've used some of them for ages but didn't know the curtain rack idea or the candle. For the microwave, I use a bowl with water and the juice of a lemon (I actually juice the lemon in the bowl and put the two lemon halves inside too, great smell!) For the sticky label glue in glass, any vegetable oil will work, I wouldn't use an essential oil, they are expensive and take lots of plant for just one drop. Thanks for the video ;)
