There's a few hacks I've never seen before. Thank you!! You can also use lemon essential oil to remove any stubborn stickers. I'll have to try the Eucalyptus! One of my all time home hacks I do often, is o take oyr dish brush, throw it The microwave damp and turn it on for 2 minutes, leaving it in there an additional minute. This disinfects it and I feel much better when cleaning dishes. We don't use wash cloths due to bacteria build up, so we love the brushes. So so easy to clean after each use.
Thank you Mommy! I noticed others are commenting on the window treatment pool noodle upgrade. I wanted to add to that: pipe insulation "noodle" found at the hard ware store. It is black, sliced down the length so you can clamp it on INSTEAD of removing the fabric, and the added benefit it is more dense, more rigid for a more precise space conformation. Plus you get the added benefit of blocking light escape if used in bedroom etc. And that Eucalyptus remover BLEW my mind. Going to try it on bumper sticker/equipment sticker removal. Yippee.
Many many years ago a good friend of mine taught me the art of "hugging" my candles. As they burn, while they are still warm, wrap your hands around the top and GENTLY squeeze those top edges towards the center. I love the level apps!!! I have 1 on my tablet but I have the Samsung S10 and there is already 1 on here. Also when steaming the microwave, add a slice or 2 of lemon if you happen to have any around. Smells so good and the acid helps clean it too. Folding towels! My mama taught me that way too! She was born in the 20s....shows how long that folding style has been around!
Loved this. And thanks for not running the music throughout the video. It was calm and relaxing and allowed me to think about how I can use these in my home.
I like to take my sheet sets, fold them and place every piece inside a matching pillow case for easy organization. It helps to keep the set all together. I like your tips and hacks.
I liked the flowers in the vase with tape to be a really good idea. What really got my attention was the way you clean the fan in the bedroom. I always make sure that I have to strip the bed right after I do the fan. This new way of doing it with the pillowcase is how I'll be doing it from now on. Wonderful ideas!🏆💡

the loo roll hack really did make a difference. Nice one to know if you are not able to buy nice heavy curtains, or you only want thinner ones to let more light in.
That Eucalyptus trick is one all of us Australians know. It's the best for removing the sticky residue left over from price tags or stickers. Glad to see you're using an Australian brand too. xx
would be to humans, if you use it neat, too (all EOs are, with the slight and qualified exceptions of lavender, tea tree and clove - to a certain extent). Personally, I’d dilute the EO first, remove the tar from the coat (being mindful of skin contact) and then carefully clean the dilution off the coat. The tar itself is also toxic/damaging
My (adult) baby sister showed me this hack years ago. However, she used a small bowl of water & a brand-new sponge. I, on the other hand, use a wash cloth. I might now, try the lemon idea, though. Also, we learned from our mom that, a quick DIY "potpourri" boil orange/lemon peels. (Just be sure to keep an eye on it! You DON'T want all the water to boil away!)
I also learned a cute hack, to match the colors of the room decor w/the flowers. You can also add marbles inside the bottom (that match, as well.) Also, don't forget to pop an aspirin into the water for those freshly cut flowers, to extend their life!
Lol🤣🤣Jamie- we had 2 flower shops growing up from 5th grade to 12 grade and I think of how we did bows back then with one hand holding the ribbon the other turning and flipping the ribbon then tying it with floral wire🤣🤣🤣🤣I see all these easy bow making ideas and I’m like huh🤔🤔🤔I hated the way my hands hurt back 😂😂👍👍

Essential oil can be too potent for your skin if it’s not diluted with mineral oil. But cheap Dollar Tree baby oil or petroleum jelly works great for removing adhesive labels. Just remove the excess oil with alcohol, before washing the bottle. My Mom taught us how to fold towels like this too, years ago. It’s a great way to neatly stack more towels in a smaller closet or storage place. Thanks again for sharing! Btw, I’m a new subscriber 🤗

The microwave I use a wet sponge with a few drops of lemon juice works just as well and leaves the oven smelling nice and fresh and we all know lemon is a natural anti bacterial cleaner Just use sponge to clean oven 👍
Your eucalyptus trick works like a charm on plastic bottles, too! I usually save a few empty prescription bottles for when I have to take samples from my cats to the vet. I've always struggled with removing the sticky residue from the labels! This was my favourite tip from all 10. 😀
Candles burn down like that when they are repeatedly burned for only a short time. If you are only going to light them for a couple hours, it's better to use thinner candles.
You can do this with cooking oil, nail varnish remover (any old cheap one will do) or with WD40. You don't need to use expensive essential oil for this!
Oh, phew, am I glad you mentioned this, because I was just going to ask if other types of oil would work, too! I’m allergic to eucalyptus, plus I have a *very* nosy and mouthy baby puppy, so eucalyptus oil is right out in my world. What a waste of expensive essential oils, too!
